Full Richt Comments on QB Decision

I got some inside information from a very close source inside the program and here it is. The reason why 5 is not starting and looked so horrible on the road was a direct result of him not spending time to study the playbook. Richt made reference to it in his press conference when he spoke about "maturity". That was a direct reference to 5 not putting in the necessary work needed to be the starter here. My source also said don't be surprised if 5 loses the job next season to Jarren and transfer. I personally don't like the vanilla offense we are playing but at the same time someone has to be in knosi ears about taking care of his business. I am rooting for the kid, but he has to do the work too. I know many of you have heard about his work ethic and knowing the playbook before so no surprise there. Please don't kill the messenger and i got this from a very very reliable source.

Perry needs to transfer.

Kid has too much potential to waste his time with some baggy-assh0led grandpa ruining his career by starting the human form of a short bus over him.

I'd worry about this. If I was his ppl I would definitely have something to say to CMR. Rosier can mentally be somewhere else and still start but Nkosi gets a series of two handing off the ball to show something??

Richt needs a CT scan of his brain. He has to have a mass or tumor pressing on something.

How could this all go down hill so fast? I mean 2 weeks ago we were flying high- Beat FSU with gutsy comeback and we'd " found our QB".

Now we've lost him?

Cant believe this....
They removed the Tumor, along with 35 Offensive plays last yr during his Lobotomy.....

Richt is so desperate to try and give himself the best chance at a pathetic 9-4 season that he doesn't care if it comes at the cost of our future, the fans being slightly entertained when on offense, our playmakers having a chance to get the ball, all because he can't get it through his thick ******* skull that his playbook is an abomination.

The offseason is 8 MONTHS LONG and this MF'er saved all the critical decisions to make IN-SEASON. Fvck Richt.

Nah homie, Perry costs us that UVA game by throwing 2 INTS in the first Quarter after we had some turnsovers. That's not how you win on the road.

Perry lost us that game homie. The golden boy with a more turnovers, less accurate is not a better QB then Rosier.

Facts homie

I don't understand why fans are so upset with this decision. I understand Perry is the future of the program but we still have a shot to win the coastal and Rosier was the QB that help this team win it last year. So he is more than capable of doing it again. Is he elite or good? No! But he has some ability. Especially in the run game.

It was Richt who lost us the game. It was lost when he kicked out Kaaya, couldn't convince Allison to stay, couldn't motivate Perry enough to read the playbook, refuses to give Williams playing time, and called off the QB competition 2 weeks into the summer to hand it off to a guy who is objectively the worst passer on the team.

All true. Except you left out the part where Perry is light years ahead of Dozier at the QB position even while being a fvck off.

This is false the score was 10-0 or 10-3 after that. We had 3 qtr to comeback. We lost because we were out coached/poor playcalling.

Homie Kaaya is a grown man who made a decision. Not richt.

Homie Allison knew he wasn't starting here and bolted.

Homie Perry can't motivate himself to learn a playbook, he needs to take his *** to FIU or FAU.

Homie why would he play Williams a true freshman when we still have a shot at the coastal

Another dope cane fan on here LOL.

Hey dummy,

Why would you starter Jarren Williams when we still have a shot at the coastal?

Do you think that's fair to the seniors who stayed who came back for an ACC championship?

Thank god you're not coach and just a dummy.

We got a bunch of delusional fans on here .

Am I a bad fan hoping we lose badly? I've been a fan since 1981, and this is about as sick to my stomach as I have ever been. Largely because Richt was thought to have been a good hire. His mismanagement of the talent we have is disgusting. He lands so many WRs, but can't get a QB that can get them the ball. From the plays he runs to his personnel decisions... He's ripping UM off. Oh, and paying Thomas Brown OC money? Really? Jon Richt? I'm just done with Richt.

contrary to popular belief on this board, Richt isn't an idiot. This makes the most sense

He his lights year ahead with his arm talent and athletically and i agree with that totally. But if you are not spending time learning the playbook or studying defenses then you limit those abilities and that's whats stopping him right now. We can name several QB that are light years ahead of tom Brady athletically but we see the results in Tom Brady from someone who spends time in the playbook.

Well he made Rosier a way better QB then anyone could've imagined. That's first of all.

Second of all looks like he struck out with Perry. But he never recruited him to begin with.

Third of all, striking out on QB's happens all the time. QB's go busts.

If Rosier gives us the best chance to win, why would Perry play at all? I have supported CMR through and through but this is tough to swallow. I actually thought he handled the Perry situation well with sitting him for the first part of the season and then giving him the keys. Now I have no idea wtf he is doing.
