yip i remember when our backups were just as good as our starters. now our backups are better then our starters but they’re both so bad it doesn’t matter.

Fair enough but I’m telling you that they’ve messed him up in the head. If I were him I’d look for a new start at a place that will use him correctly. He’ll succeed once again in the right system.

Observations on FSU:

-Big improvement from 2021.
-Travis looks better, but reminds me too much it Malik in 2017. Goes on long droughts, but has heart.
-Offense is better but not great. Wake has the #72 defense in the country right now.
-Defense is fast but susceptible to blow coverages.
-Still an undisciplined team. 91 yards of penalties.
-Not mentally weak, so far, like last year.
-Playing better than us right now, but 50/50 on what happens in our game. We beat UNC and I’ll think different.

Really really Hate to say it, I’m really surprised how much better they are this year. Before the season I thought they might win 5 games and look worse than last year ( or maybe that was more me hoping they would be terrible ), but Travis playing better and they did really well in transfer portal at WR and DE.
Ecstatic they lost today, hope they keep up and go on a nice losing streak over the next few weeks. FSU fans were becoming insufferable.

Correct but this offense still sucks. Michigan had a weak passing game when he was there. And I knew it was going to be a problem when all off season all they talked about was running the ball

That allowed the spy to only have to cover one side because he knew if Travis scrambled it would always be to the QB’s right side. It also meant every throw went to one side of the field and Wake really only defended one side of the field.

Yeah their fans were all crawling back out. That said that giant WR of theirs is gonna eat us alive and Travis has moxie if nothing else.
I'm so disheartened with how we looked LW that I can only think of them trouncing us...we'll see.
