Fredrick Johnson OL Palm Beach

Would take. Get rid of Loftus, and maybe Mahoney, and all of a sudden we got ourselves a nice OL class.

Interior - Gauthier (like him a lot), Jahair
Exterior - St. Louis, Johnson
Swingman - Milo

Only way is if we drop 1 or 2 OL. Its way passed time to call it quits on looking for offensive recruits and just try to keep what we have, then just focus on defense.

that group and merrick would be excellent group to work with. Especially when put with our 3 good 2014 guys. I am not sure if we will actually end up dropping mahoney or loftus tho

Yeah, I mean even if we keep Mahoney and Loftus you gotta figure that there will be some attrition along the line, and maybe those two turn into solid depth guys. Overall I like the group.

I mean you can have your back up plans in place, this kid would come in a heart beat as soon as we offered him. Hold off that offer until we have to have him. Coming out of the dead period we will have a good idea of the guys we have to get because a lot of pieces are enrolling early so you dont have to wait until signing day to see their decision.

Right now we have glaring holes in this in terms of needing defense at every position and maybe another receiver and we have 5 (give or take 1 or 2) spots available. That is not enough alone to fill our defensive needs, let alone if this guy commits. I would rather have 5 defensive JAGs right now to commit than 5 OL JAGs which seems to be all we are targeting.

Well, for one, I don't think we have 5 OL jags. I think we have 2 that seem to be JAG-ish (Mahoney and Loftus), and I could see one of them being left out. Everyone else seems like a nice prospect. As we saw this season, depth on the OL can dry up real quick, sometimes in one freakin quarter. I for one think that Kaaya is a ******* STUD and am good with us going all in to keep him upright. Beyond Mcdermott (tore up his knee), Darling and Linder, the OL depth chart for 2 years from now looks real scary. Gotta beef it up.

As for the defense, I think we need 1 or 2 more rushers and then 2 more tackles, in addition to about 4 DBs. We are going to see some more attrition in the class, so at the end of the day taking 5 or 6 OL shouldn't have too adverse an effect on the numbers.

And I am personally sick of JAGs at every position, so I won't even get into that piece of it.

I think Milo, St. Louis, Jones, Gauthier, would be plenty then add 1 of Mahoney, Loftus, Johnson. I guess you are right though you do want to be deep in the trenches especially when it comes to keeping Kaaya upright. As far as defense though, I'm sure you would agree we need to start stepping it up and making some additions to this class to mainly the secondary and DL.

Yeah the defensive recruiting has been atrocious to this point. Staff has given me no reason to think they will ever close strong either, so seems we are in a bit of a no man's land. I just keep the issues separate. Good OL recruiting =/= Bad DL recruiting. Bad player development =/= bad recrutiing evaluation. Etc.

More OL?! Omg wtf though. Can we get some DB news and DTs? ...LBs....defense?

That's what im saying. It'd be different if Merrick or an elite OL was interested but more JAGs? Killing me
We can't catch a break man. You have to wonder if Golden is deliberately trying to sabotage the U. Its not even like they are getting jags for position of need. We hear no news about any defenders other than pipe dreams they let slip away

There is no chance they hire that bich. They hate Pedo St more than we do.

This guy is definitely a take. Great athlete with ridiculous length.

There is a major need for depth on the OL right now. The 2013 class is looking like a bust. The 2014 class was strong with McDermott, Darling and Linder, and if we can keep St. Louis and add this guy it will be a very strong group.

And Bar Milo. Having an OL of LT-Mcdermott, LG-Milo, C-Linder, RG- St. Louis, RT- Darling, in a few years that will be elite!! with Jahair Jones rotating in and the other guys as well. I can get excited about or offense but our defense right now is a different story

Flip McDermott and St. Louis. I think McDermott is ultimately an interior guy and St. Louis is a LT all the way.

I think McDermott will be the Left Tackle actually. Isadora and Gall should be great inside... Linder will be a C. Gadbois and Darling will play RT.
