anyone got a summary of Scarlett's 247 post-UF visit article?
Ft. Lauderdale (Fla.) St. Thomas Aquinas running back Jordan Scarlett, a current Miami commit, took an official visit to Florida this past weekend. The 5-foot-11, 210-pound prospect enjoyed his time in Gainesville.

“I had a great time,” Scarlett said. “I got to spend some time with a couple of the players I knew a little bit already.”
One of the current players he already knew was his host Brandon Powell.
“He was telling me it was a place young guys come and play and can make an impact on the team,” Scarlett said of Powell’s message. “I can see that because obviously he had playing time as a freshman and Quincy [Wilson].”
New head coach Jim McElwain’s message was to the point.
“He is new to this thing just how I would be. He said I would be a big impact.”
What would Scarlett rate his visit to Florida?
“It helped a lot. I had a great time. I really don’t really have a number.”
Scarlett added that his status with Miami is the “same as it was before visiting Florida.” In fact, he spoke to Miami coaches shortly after completing his visit with the Gators.
“We just talked, basic conversation to see how it’s going. They said it’s an awesome experience and just told me to enjoy myself.”
Next up for Scarlett is a trip to Florida State.
“It’s the same thing I was looking at here. The lifestyle, the atmosphere and everything.”
The Seminoles lost a commitment from running back Johnny Frasier over the weekend. Does that affect Scarlett at all?
“Well yeah, because it opens a spot. It’s just opens a spot and gives me an opportunity to be in their class, so I’m taking the visit to see if I like it.”
The 247Sports Composite ranks Scarlett as the nation’s No. 118 overall prospect.
