Frasier flips from FSU to NC State, will we keep Scarlett?

Given Alice Grolden's substantial history on missing out on "top" SoFl recruits and decommits, we all should be very worried he'll lose another! Of course it'll be our fault, although Al gets credit when one sticks and we get blamed for decommits and not signing. Something odd about that?

I wouldn't want to go to a team that only shows me love because their other RB flips......but that's just me. If he goes to FSU I'll lose a litte respect for the kid.

Kyle and TG I'm not knocking Mac or praising Harbaugh. Certainly not praising AG. He was a relative unknown here as well. You don't think a Harbaugh like hire at UF would've helped them this year vs Mac?

My main point was that we are struggling with half of our chief recruiting competition-UF dead this year.
perhaps but probably not much. Our board was **** to start with.

next year is where Harbaugh vs Mac would make a difference, in theory. Mac might be a bulldog for all i know. He hired a staff that is very experienced recruiting the southeast so he at least knows the importance of it. And that might help us some this year since a lot guys he hired were recruiting the kids we are looking at, so there is familiarity there.

right now I am taking an expect the worst/hope for the best since it is a transition class....but this weekend is going great for us so I have some optimism. A lot of optimism, actually.

Gators feeling good on Scarlett? Or more Cowart/Ivey/Davis related?

cronkite
ivey
davis
rayshawn jefferson
Francois
Scarlett

i dont expect to get all those guys but they are having a great time. francois is interesting and something i will get into at a later time.

Cronk I can definitely see you guys having a chance at. If the Miami staff didn't botch his recruitment he would be committed here still.

Ivey always been considered a lean for you guys. Would like to see if McElwain closes there as Auburn has been creeping in.

Davis I'm pretty positive you will land him.

I believe you mean Rayshad Jackson who I am sure you will land as Shannon is a Norland alum and it will be closer to home for Jackson.

Francois I can understand your optimism there as I was even shocked a long time ago that he didn't commit to UF. Thing is you must remember, Winston just left. FSUs job is wide open.

Scarlett we shall see. Miami had a great visit with him as well with Brad Kaaya being a major selling point as well as RB U. FSU becomes even more of a factor now too. IMO ultimately he will choose where he feels will take him pro and allow him to play early and often.

The fact Cowart left early, I think that doesn't bode well for your chances at all.

Cece I don't think will go to UF. Neither Holland.

One thing to monitor for you guys is if Dexter Williams takes a visit next week. Even though he has hinted at a trip to Miami again before signing day.

We shall see. Recruiting around this time gets interesting.

Williams has committed to ND already and will announce on signing day

I thought cece Jefferson was the all time lock for the gators?
no...ole miss is real player for him

geo, as for francois there is a lot more to that. I will get into it later. UF never had much of a shot with him until he found a few things out.

Can't believe UF won't get cece until I see it. Stranger things have happened I guess... I thought he was even a bigger lock than cowart to be honest...

that was probably true until the staff change. Now there is pretty much no relationship with uf. That may or may not sway him away from uf....it at least got him looking harder at other schools.

I thought it was Florida we had to worry about, not FSU

The nerds with no real information made it a ufayg/UM battle because they thought fsu wasn't interested in him. If fsu is interested, and he's visiting there and has always really liked fsu, then figure it out.

Use your brain instead of relying on fake information from guys who are mostly making stuff up based on their own feel for the situation.

I had mentioned it a long time ago that I've always felt FSU was always going to be in it for Scarlett. People forget that at one point he was a heavy FSU lean.

Pretty confident Scarlett stays based off everything I've read. Not sure why everyone is freaking out. "He gone." Thats almost as *** as, "Crootin."

I feel better that he'll stay now

dont know if it means anything but francois removed #futurenole #FSU from his twitter bio today. Been for months.

All I know is that Francois didn't like UF at all when Muschamp was there...
