Watching a podcast on YouTube and the host said "he was at practice and saw Francis getting reps at Center". The thought of it is interesting

That would be very athletic and physically imposing offensive line. Could you imagine Francis pulling from the center position, pretty interesting.

Yup it has been said many many times Mirabal has the OLine cross-train all positions. That way there's more depth throughout the OLine instead of being separated into C, G, and Ts.

It's a fun thought experiment, but as a couple of others have mentioned I wouldn't read too much into this. They like to cross-train the OL at various spots.

Mauigoa would be a beast at C (or any IOL spot, really).

Coop said in his interview everyone was cross training. CiCi was getting snaps at Center and Guard. And Coop was getting reps at Left and Right guard and right tackle but no center because “center was not his strong suit” lol

Doing that for depth or if C fails. That Auburn flip really had an effect this season. Dude would have been an AA here or anywhere else. He’s already Auburns best OL in year one.

Can you imagine the adjustment havoc it would play on opposing D, the Oline shifting and lining up at different spots…pure fantasy on my part of course.

There hasn't been a lot of people saying he needs to stay at T. Only if there's no one better. On the contrary many, many, many people have been saying he should be a G and that's probably would he will be in the NFL...
