We actually had lots of guys running open that game. We just didnt have a qb that could get the ball to any of them in the 2nd half.

I’m not sure he’s ready for #1 role, but would love it if he was sharing #2 with Lofton (in terms of feature)

Im willing to bet hes ready for that #1 Role next year & he's going to open Alot of eyes this year barring injury. He was dealing w injuries and We had an excellent WR group last yr but hes just as talented as any WR in the country IMO😤
 
If healthy

I wouldn’t be surprised to see him as a top 10-15 receiver production wise in the country this year. I don’t think he’s someone that will wow you with measurables or athleticism, but he reminds me a lot of Allen Hurns — a consistent player that can make the tough catches and will be a reliable target on critical downs. He’s better than anything we had on the outside the last few seasons.

I get wanting to add more talent to the room a “true #1.” I’m all for it but who realistically fits thst profile and has a shot of entering the spring portal window. Just don’t see many guys that are far and away better than Daniels/Jojo who could potentially enter. Think this fan base overestimates how many “true #1” WRs there are out there. I think we have two outside guys now that are on that tier right below and a lot of teams would love to have that.

Helps to have Cam Ward but still that bowl game was one of Dawsons best. Iowa State had a great pass defense and we made them look like clowns

If Beck Made Aerian Smith a 4 rounder with his lack of hands & Ball Skills what would A COVID Senior Do?

2023 CJ Daniels can be our leading receiver, or very close to it. He was fast, explosive, and confident.

2024 CJ Daniels is going to get swallowed by ACC DBs. He was not healthy, and he looked tentative and slow.

Is his foot 100.0%? Like he's running routes with complete explosion and zero thought about the foot? Then we got a player.

I imagine staff will be very cautious with his reps in fall camp since we will need him big time in season
