He could follow the other guy who went to CC so he could play this year as well. Miami dismissed him from the team so how are they preventing him from going somewhere. Seems more the NCAA rules are the hold up.

So you can’t kick a kid off the team anymore? lol what’s Miami supposed to do? Just be held hostage? 2026 is terrible

Just checked UM's website. Today is the last day to enroll at Miami. Randomly chose another ACC team, Va Tech. Their last day is Friday.

They can sign the papers to allow him to enter the portal. The fact the portal is closed isn't Miami's concen, it's the NCAA's concern. I don't know why we made this our problem. Just get rid of the drama already.

I mean, the article in the OP explicitly noted in the lawsuit that "Miami then refused to submit the waiver request the NCAA requires so that he can enter the transfer portal". So yes, there is a piece of paper (or electronic form) to sign. Just f-ing do it and move on, forget about the clown. Let the NCAA handle it.

p.s, this isn't meant as an attack on you. I'm just frustrated we're talking about this moron and not Stanford.

thats what they alleged in their complaint. doesnt make it true.

there is no paperwork to enter the portal because there is no portal. its why lowe hasnt entered the portal either.

the paperwork will be signed in the winter when he can enter the portal
 
i do enjoy that he sued the NCAA and UM? this ***** is going to get removed to federal court and state court antics wont fly.

Probably because that would require Miami to affirm the bullsh!t reasons on which he bases his request for a waiver.

This happened last week I think. So the portal was technically closed.

Lil Wayne funded the suit -- the kid was kicked off the team while grieving the death of his mother. Lil Weezy is that dude.

I’m saying it shouldn’t be our responsibility to do anything for him if he’s kicked off the team and the portal is closed. Good luck next year if he wants to play somewhere.
