For those saying Enos is gone for Michigan State in the next couple years...

Please!! Someone explain to me the fascination that some have in predicting a good coach or player will soon be leaving the program the instant they sign on with the Canes.

When Mark Whipple began his UM career after a few good games the "world is coming to an end crowd" started their crystal ball predictions claiming that Whipple would immediately accept a job from another program. ****, it got so bad I was waiting for one of the geniuses to claim that during halftime of the next game Whipple would pack his grip, jump on a passing Greyhound Bus and head over to XYZ program. Of course, it wasn't much later when they started their all to familiar chant...FIRE WHIPPLE!!!

It seems to me that some segment of the HERD simply has to find something negative to be smearing on message boards or other social media venues, thus making themselves feel important or in the know.

Don’t know who said that. But it’s public that Enos has been named the coach in waiting. U think giving an extension means something? Lol
Watch Michigan st crap the bed 2 yrs in a row and see what happens.
Enos is the Miami coach in waiting? Why would a coach in waiting be named under a first year HC?

He said a factor in choosing Miami was the location. Said his family fell in love with miami at the orange bowl and on vacation earlier in the year.

After walking around in sandals during the winter it will be hard to go back to East Lansing
Wonder what the odds are Manny and Enos had an understanding about working together well before Richt retired. Enos vacation location wasnt a coincidence.

If we win a Natty or get close he will be offered a nice head coach position somewhere

Thing about National Championships - you get one - and you want another.

And if you've put in lots of work getting the right personnel, the right system, and the next year's batch is loaded - sometimes you want to benefit from all the plowing and cultivating you've put into arriving at that point.

The more times you are at the top - at least in the playoffs - the higher your stock rises - and everyone knows it's not a flash in the pan type performance. It's CREDIBILITY.

Takes so long to attain, and so easy to lose.

Dantonio just got another year added in to his contract, now signed through 2025, approved by the board of trustees, and every February they can add another year to his contract.
Dantonio is not going anywhere unless he wants to, he will eventually retire there, which is great news for us if Enos does well, because he should be ours as long as we want him.
So did Al Golden and Mark Richt.
