For The Clowns That Were Going To Renew Their Season Tix

Don't tell Jesse Marks that Dan, he's been tweeting out that graphic of what the school has "put into" the program. That $350 mil or whatever it is for the stadium is a joke, as they aren't paying a single dime. Do they really think we are idiots?

Standard pricing scheme in college athletics. Not saying the tix are worth it but it's fairly standard.

Yes, indeed they're morons. The worst thing any business can do when their margins are decreasing is raising the cost of anything to those who remain loyal. The only time you ever consider raising prices is when you have a line out the door or cannot meet a demand. Neither of which we have, so it's amazing they're upping the ante, but as we all know their business accumen is rudimentary at best.
 
Some guy on Twitter was taking the "Assistant Director Of Development" to task and this was his delusional reply. At least we're getting a "new" stadium finally! These guys actually give clowns a bad name.

One game last year StubHub had 8k tickets at $6 or under. To say the tickets aren't worth it would possibly be the understatement of the century considering how many empty seats we saw each game.

For the record, I loved seeing the second hand sellers eating tickets. I hate those companies with a passion since in most cases they inflate costs associated with going to games.

"Your seats" don't exist anymore. You don't say. "My donation" doesn't exist anymore either.

How can anyone donate a penny to these morons?

For anyone who went from having season tickets at the OB to sun life, how did they accommodate you if you had your seats for years prior? Kinda find it insulting that they are saying "your seats don't exist" bc its a new stadium. Couldn't same argument be made when we first left the OB to SLS originally? just curious.
 
Lol at your seats don't exist anymore, unless of course you significantly donate more to the school, then they'll be happy to save your seats. Whole Athletic Department is a clown show and needs to be gutted.

As a student it's easy to not spend money there- I ain't got no money to spend. A meal there is like two or three meals during the week. Pshhh please

In the same graphic they claim to have spent $1m on new football uniforms, uniforms which they can no longer wear because they switched to Adidas. They thought the best time to spend a million dollars on uniforms would be the year before the contract might expire and preventing them from ever wearing them again.

The school who claims to have no money spent a million dollars to rent uniforms for a year.
 
Miami does not believe that the fans will boycott the games. We also have enough slurpers and "gotta support the kids" fans where Miami will come out on top......again
 
could someone post an actual example? as in my seat went from $200 to $1000 (same seat)? Im hearing that seats tripled. sounds fishy. However fact is it will be a totaly different stadium after you remove 10k seats and redo the bowl. They were forced to reshuffle the deck and the only way to do so is come up with a priority system.

Your rank within your giving level is determined by your priority points, which are calculated by your gifts to athletics, consecutive years of athletics giving and consecutive years of season ticket purchases.

I think you can complain about the "gifts" part but the consecutive years donating and ticket purchases would be the same at any school. Whats the problem?

For the record, people in the athletic and administrative departments are expecting season ticket package sales to fall of at very close to 52% because the FSU-UNC package that was offered this year was included in the original season ticket sales.

Also the big reason they raised the pricing is because since they expect such a drop off in attendance that they're hoping to squeeze the blindly dedicated fans and they've already started to get emails because this is insulting to their menial intelligence. To put it in short, the fans who decided to hang on with Golden into next year are ****ed now because of this stunt.

It's a shame it's come to this but the admin is falling apart at the seams and they'll get their dues with furthered embarrassment.

Why the **** are you even contemplating the notion of buying tickets is the better question.

It cannot be overstated....DO NOT RENEW YOUR TICKETS or BUY INDIVIDUAL GAME TICKETS.

**** this administration. I'd rather see the program shut down than run the way it's currently being run.
