I hope you like being extorted. Your precious "great" seats are now up for grabs to anyone that has donated more money to The Hurricane Club. Not only will you not have the right to retain your fantastic seats at our "new" stadium, these clowns have extended the 2014 donation period into 2015 so you can be pressured into giving more money to improve the date that you select your new seats. The cojones on these morons are so big that I don't know how they fit through the door at Hecht. Here's an excerpt from the letter that went out today:

Select-Your-Seat Process
Every season ticket holder will be assigned a day and time in which they can select their seats, accessible through our online system, over the phone or in person at the Hecht Athletic Center. The order of selections will be set by your 2014 Hurricane Club giving level and your rank within your giving level. Your 2014 giving level is determined by your total 2014 Annual Fund contribution. Your rank within your giving level is determined by your priority points, which are calculated by your gifts to athletics, consecutive years of athletics giving and consecutive years of season ticket purchases.

Improve Your Priority
In order to accommodate Hurricane Club members who would like to add to their 2014 giving level to increase their seat selection priority, gifts toward 2014 giving levels will be accepted through February 13, 2015. Your priority assignment for Select-Your-Seat will be set after the February 13 deadline. Below, you can find your membership summary (“Your Hurricane Club Membership at a Glance”), which includes your 2014 giving level as of December 31, 2014.

We have been to the ticket office, our seats in section 142 are now only available to Golden Canes (we are silver 12 seats). Price has quadrupled?
We can move to the other side around 50 yard line at almost triple the price. We have been season ticket holders for over 40 years - and are done.

These clowns sure have some nerve, don't they? Considering the abysmal product they allow to be put on the field, they should let people watch for nothing. The university does NOTHING for the program and should expect THE SAME in return. **** them!

So the only reason you're not getting tickets is because the price went up? Otherwise, you were going to continue giving these assh0les your money while they run the program into the ground?
 
A true testament to the idiots running the program and their disconnect from the general attitude of the fanbase.


They really think people are gonna line up to get tickets, and donate more, after their big 'FU' to all of us.


Having Golden as head coach practically guarantees that tons, and tons, and tons of seats will be available, for every game. Why the **** would anyone donate or worry about season tickets for that matter?
 
If they are tripling and quadrupling prices for some, it stands to reason that they are banking on the math dictating that even if half the season ticket owners cancel their plans (which is probably unrealistic), the rest are paying so much more that they'll still turn a profit anyway. What cynical ********.

Seems like this is really about passing the costs of the renovations onto the consumer.

Buy your tickets from StubHub, or from the visitor's ticket office. Pack your own lunches and bring your own water. Don't spend a dime in that place.

Anyone renewing or buying tickets to ANY game next season isn't a Canes fan.....period.

Just by going to the game and showing support you're pretty much telling the administration we'll yell and scream but then forgive them for all the bull**** they've done to this program.

If you absolutely must go...buy them second hand, eat in the parking lot (food you brought from home) and either car pool or take the bus.

Forget going...I have zero interest to even watch an entire game next year. It's a lose lose at this point...if Golden happens to take advantage of our weak *** schedule and squeak out 8 wins he'll be proclaimed a savior by the ******* idiots running our program and will likely get a lifetime contract.

******* horrible time in this program's history.

This no surprise to me. The U is run by a politician. Politicians sell out to the highest bidder. What The U has become is disgraceful.
