For sure gone, likely gone, up in the air

If we're losing starters and guys that could be starting next year, the better question to ask isn't "who" but "why?".

More money?
Better development?
Want to win bigger and guaranteed a starting position at a better program?

Whatever the answer is, losing guys who are penciled in as starters is a big concern.
Maybe

Any idea as to why? Why aren’t they banding together and saying we are close we can come back and be special. That never happens here, FSU got there guys to come back and look. Leaving for NFL is one thing but just transferring, has Mario already lost the room this bad in 2 years? Pathetic
This is CiS in a nutshell

You have literally no clue so you ask a question. And then proceed to mope about the hypothetical answer that no one gave you

Then finish it off with an insult to that hypothetical question a couple sentences after asking a question because you have literally no clue

That’s ******* amazing bro

This may be triggering but believe it or not 18-20 year olds typically aren't loyal.

would you stay of your head coach cost you a least 3 wins?

Would you stay if the medical team can’t get your right after 2 years?

Would you stay if your offense doesn’t utilize the position?

Would you stay if you are getting minimal NIL opportunities?

Would you want to play in a half empty stadium 6 weeks out of the year?

Pretty simple to figure out why guys would leave.

Win and some of these issues go away.

There will be both Manny kids as well as Mario kids moving on. Unfortunately, the results through the first two seasons have left quite a few kids as well as those in there corner simply not believing in Mario anymore.

While Mario is well liked on a personal level, he is not easy to work or play for. I expect this to be a yearly issue until there is a little more self reflecting from those in charge. While the portal will take, hopefully we can keep getting as well.

There are always definitely exceptions. H[BGCOLOR=initial]e didn't have the spot guaranteed this year to start at Bama. He was losing minutes to a younger OL last year and also had some mental health issues there. seemed like it was mutual with him leaving and Bama being ready for him to move on also.[/BGCOLOR]

Sure. We are on the same page

There’s no one answer to the question

We aren’t a very good team, and that kinda sucks. But also the portal is out of control

Gimme the 2023 class

Kiko. X. The OL.

Other than that…

You’re 100% right I don’t have a clue, hence the question. Just frustrating we see examples all over college football of teams returning most of their contributors and putting together a great year. And for whatever reason it doesn’t happen here. I know they’ll have a plan to replace who is lost but it’s so much easier to just keep what you have. We had a plan at DT this year for recruiting it didn’t work out.

I hear ya. I’ll in no way shape or form try to defend what’s happened here the last two years

Same time I don’t want to hold the last 20 years against Mario either

What’s going on with the portal is unprecedented so I’m just in a bit of wait and see mode

I just know going 12-12 sure doesn’t help
