Is there any chance the rest of the SEC wouldn’t want FSU and Miami coming?
There are many people outside of this fanbase who would love to have Miami relegated to a second tier conference. If we get stuck in the Mickey Mouse ACC it would decimate recruiting going forward. What top 100 kid does not want to play in the big boy conferences? The pair is not Miami and FSU.
It's Clemson and FSU.
They both fit like a glove in the $EC.
Been saying this for a while — and others here have as well — that we are no sure thing for the SEC.
The things that have us so excited and give us a shot at winning big— CMC's elite recruiting abilities, an upgraded coaching staff and the impact of John Ruiz – are red flags to the SEC whether everyone realizes it or not.
If A2M or UT-Austin or Free Shoes or Dabbo and Clempson come in and win big, it's one thing.
If the Miami Hurricanes with Mario Cristobal and John Ruiz do the same, it's gonna be a problem for those folks in Birmingham.
I know most of y'all already know this, but take it from someone who's lived in the "real South" his whole life: Canes generate a different kind of hate in this part of the country.
Only way we're getting in S-E-C is if ESPN ramrods that **** thru and Greg Sankey has no choice.
I don't either but the article pulls right up if you Google it. Seems like a pretty good data driven article about each teams tv market. Believe it could cause for some nice debate. Or else please let me know how to post a link and I will post. Thanks.
Completely agree. It just exposes them as the scared pussies they are.Won't matter if the others agree to us joining. Similar to TexasA&M trying to block UT from joining the SEC.

Agree. I think it points out a couple of things as well. FSU following is bigger than most think. Also as bad as Miami has been they are still fifth. There will be somewhat of a gamble with UM that they will return to relevance but all signs point to them doing so. If they lay an egg like they have the past 20 years then it will prob still pay off just not as good. In any case the future is what will matter, as in any business acquisition, and IF it comes down to UM verses FSU that is where some smart people will need to make the call.Well the Athletic is a sub site, so you can’t read it without a sub, but here’s the link:

As the Pac-12 deals with losing UCLA and USC to the Big Ten and the Big 12 explores a raid on the Pac-12, audience data can be instructive.theathletic.com
And here’s a janky link that will probably give you a virus, with the whole article:
The long and short of it is that Clemson and FSU have more games with over a million viewers of late than anyone else in the ACC, along with Washington and Oregon. Miami is fifth in that group, and honestly it’s pretty shocking because FSU and Clemson are far and away the better draws. Miami is fifth but we are extremely close to being 7-8th too.
My counter would be that when Miami is good we draw as well as anyone else in the country, which is fact, but we also haven’t been good in decades. So we have a high ceiling and a low floor, but we also haven’t touched the ceiling in far too long.
Agree, and if our side gets to pitch I trust Rad and Co to make a much more compelling case than the bumblers in Tallahassee.Agree. I think it points out a couple of things as well. Those Crker *** Crkers really afraid of having to play us every year or at least more often. They don't want to play in Miami as well. It's actions this and them blocking us, why I say The U is the Ngyers of college football. Maybe this will make our complaints more understandable.

Hope I am, Cane brothaWrong.
@Boarcane, who is very connected, thinks it’s UM and Clemson. Until he says otherwise, I’ll believe him and the other posters on this board who have inside information. The pair is not Miami and FSU.
