Holy **** that's accurate.
FML, Why am I still a fan why keep doing this to myself why ??????
I’m not one of them. What gets me is there are some Dolphins fans that are defending this move and believe Grier should stick around since it looks like we hit on Phillips, Waddle and Holland more specifically.
Last I checked, Grier built this OL and it's arguably the worst in the league. Which, I'm not the biggest expert in football, but I'd assume if you have an undersized QB that had injury issues in college, you'd want to make sure you had one of the best OL in the league.
You're basically waiting on Ross to no longer own this team. Ross is our Blake James.after watching Herbert play last night, and then waking to the news of Flo being out today, I have come to the understanding the Fins will never be a competent franchise
Dude, I'm with you. Since Grier has been here, when have we had a semi-competent OL? I can't recall the last time we had one.I’m not one of them.
If he can land with a good QB, he'll win.I see Flores getting a head coaching job soon in the nfl this cycle
I was off Grier once he took Tua over Herbert. They took Tua because they wanted a charismatic face of the franchise. All the Herbert stuff was malarkey.Dude, I'm with you. Since Grier has been here, when have we had a semi-competent OL? I can't recall the last time we had one.
This was a terrible decision
I can totally see him getting another NFL head coaching job. If he gets a team with a decent QB he could be in the playoffs every year. It’ll just make the Dolphins ownership and front office look even dumber.Absolutely Flores could end up in a better situation than at Miami
No chance Ross poaches his own school. ZeroHarbaugh most likely. Bad decision though. Flores will get another job and hopefully he learned some lessons.
Is Grier still a healthy fit in Miami? Lol.From Jeff Darlington. Covers NFL but before that covered the Dolphins.
Flores is a good coach. He also has made many questionable decisions. Firing 4 OL and 3 OC’s in three years is not good for business.
Flores’ shocking departure is said to have come down to his deteriorating relationships between franchise quarterback Tua Tagovailoa, whom the Dolphins drafted in 2020, and general manager Chris Grier, ESPN’s Jeff Darlington reported Monday. Team owner Stephen Ross “no longer saw Flores as a healthy fit in Miami,” per Darlington, who also cited “constant staff changes.”
That is simply not true and a lazy narrative. Ross built Related Group from the ground up. Arthur Blank built Home Depot from the start. Sure some have (Mara, Ford, Rooney), but a lot have not. They inherited everything. Always.
