Awesome so there gonna have X, ray ray, and Ny at slot that's interesting. Just watching football gotta think that's all the hype on Jojo is maybe Horton still not stepping up. We keep hearing Jojo is in top 3 hopefully we get a portal or Jojo is the real deal
I never said that it was a perfect scenario. It is what it is. Now obviously the staff can chose to play Carr somewhere else other than Y. As for my post, I’m just going by evals bro, body types bro. 😎

Yeah I see why physically you had Horton at the X receiver spot but he hasn't really shown that ability at this level to make contested, jump ball type catches. Not saying he can't but Horton has to prove it. If he can then he can compete with JoJo at that spot. But if the staff doesn't think he can it only magnifies the importance of finding that guy in the portal so Jacolby can stay on the other side where he's best suited.

Lol broo u good bro the video someone posted yesterday of the Ny an Jojo bro Ny definitely looks bigger than that 5'8 to 5 10 slot body type range bro. With X an Ray Ray already at slot bro an our slim depth I hope Ny ends up at z bro. I was saying move Jacolby to X since his body done developed more than Jojo at this point to get keep Jojo off the line bro u feel me bro!

I don't think people comprehend there was no production in the passing game with te or rb PRIMARLY because Tyler wanted nothing to do with the positions and we lacked much ESTABLISHED skill towards that end.
Missing 80 was big. Still, for a veteran QB some of the decisions were just bad..even when it was the right decision, he threw the wrong type of ball.

Yup I said it all year it wasn’t on the coaches they not throwing it he has to throw it to them. Dumb *** qb

For anyone paying attention they had to realize it was on Tyler that he made a conscious decision not to throw to those positions. He showed it from day 1 freshman year. When Mallory was on the team who was a legit receiving threat at tight end did he get the looks he should have under Tyler? How about rooster. Parrish dropped just as many targets as he caught. The tight end group as a whole dropped significantly more balls then they caught. With that in mind how could the coaches target them more often when the qb clearly isn't comfortable with them either.

People pay attention with emotions and don’t know wtf they looking at sometimes and I never played. Got to take that rabid fan out of you and really look, and if you can’t see it do some research. Or pay attention to those who have done it, that aren’t biased. That’s why I pay attention to you and consider it.

Tight end will double in production this year.

All about personel imo. Cam isn't a receiving option he had to start because of injuries. Riley was #2 as a TF, and he had some bad drops. Not sure if anyone is mentioning it but he struggled with some untimely drops. I know he had 1-2 in N.C. State game, and I think he had a big potential 3rd down conversion drop against LVille for like 15-20 yards.

I think he will improve and be better catching, and I think Arroyo being healthy will of course be a big reason for improved TE production.

Regardless of your feelings about TVD, you're not going to have TE production with Cam McCormick as your #1, and a TF as your #2.

Top 2 TE and RB comparison with same QB.

2021:

Mallory: 30/347/4
Knighton: 20/280/3
C. Harris: 11/119/1
Arroyo: 5/86/1

2023:

R. Williams: 8/72/1
C. McCormick: 8/62/0
Fletcher: 7/62/0
Parrish: 11/32/0

As much as the agenda is pushed to blame everything on TVD, I don't think this one is on him.

It's not entirely on him cause once we factor in the drops it becomes another conversation. Hence why I said the issue wasn't forced. As a freshman you have numerous factors to consider. First and foremost Mallory wasn't dropping nothing. You also have to break down the game by game stats and realize some of those stats came into play under d eriq & garcias as well. But I get the point over all.

When I was saying he didn't want to go that route I'm talking about he's always had a safety blanket. That's where he was going majority of the time. Year one it was Rambo and Harley. Then x took that title. Think about it and you tell me if that seems logical. In 10 games worth of action simply sticking to Mallory as the sample size should he have had a third of those catches in the first 3 weeks than he had the remainder of the season. I wouldn't care even if I was the qb I wouldn't want to throw the ball to dudes I knew were just as likely to drop the ball as they would be to catch it. I don't blame the qb or the oc for not forcing that.
