Good to see a guy lifting after being on the team for 2-3 days. But i don't like the form. For my money, he needs to bend his knees more and keep his chest upright. This form can lead to back soreness and injuries.

Which forces me to ask, where is the S and C coaches on this? We have a guy filming a player lifting, but not a guy correcting the bad form? That is *** backwards.

If you want to keep your spine aligned you can't be looking at the horizon because it causes you to arch your back at the lower part of the lift. Eyes should be 3-4 feet in front of your toes

His form is fine. i dead-lift 515 using the same form, have been for about 6 years now no issues with my back, but that's also youth as well so who knows lol

More talented maybe. But if you think a kid that hasnt played in years is better than a kid who was top 5 in sacks this season you trippin.

Never used a trap bar but it seems you'd get better posterior chain activation with just a bar.

I’ve been lifting for literally 60 years. Any criticism of his form is nitpicking, IMO.
