Fall practice #4

I’m starting to think 252 hates Martell for some reason. He’s made at least 252 negative posts about him this week. Are you going to be angry if he’s named starter? Who do you prefer for the job? I believe all the QBs have their pros and cons but you seem to be extra focused on discrediting Tate.

And who was that genius talking **** about Baxa not being able to hit from 50?

RPO is not a post snap read and you don’t read an edge defender. That is a read option... totally different concept.

RPO you make a decision on numbers in the box as to whether you’re gonna pass or throw and usually have a decision of a run play to one side and pass play to that side and then a different run play to the other side and a different pass play to the other side. The concept started with a single high safety, because they’re irrelevant in the run game (makes it 11 vs 10 basically) then you move some guys around and control the numbers to your advantage

Show me any negative posts i made about martell. I'll wait. I have a issue with weird *** dudes saying he is elite when he hasn't shown it.

You're words "he clearly isn't" proves your dislike for him. If you want to say he hasn't proven it here yet, I can understand but how can you say he clearly isn't? Just like the rest of the QBs.

One primary version of the RPO is definitely a post snap read and you read a hanging defender (usually a LB or in the box Safety) and either pull the ball or hit the pass where the hanging defender vacated.
 
The thing I am looking for with the QBs is who improves the most. They all have different strengths and weaknesses. In the spring, Tates weakness was accuracy and arm strength. Jarren has always thrown the best ball and if it was only up to that he would have started last year but his weakness is being forced to play out of his tempo which can only be seen in live action. Perry seems to be adding to his list of weaknesses which is a bad sign.

What elite traits has he flashed in college? I’m not hating, I’m curious. I’m one of those lame folk who doesn’t care who QB1 is as long as it’s Enos’ choice.

And please don’t mention high school, we’ve had plenty of guys who flashed “elite” qualities in high school.
