Facts Are Facts

What's your idea for a new "U" coach? Your boy MR is laying it. Or you want to give MR 3 more years? How do we fix this ******* mess MR has created? You think Butch could have done worse? No ******* way bro!!

What planet have you been on since about 1996? Excluding a three year run this program has been a mess for more than 20 years.

Richt isn't my boy. Everyone here knows he has to make changes, including bringing in a new OC and giving him free reign. But maybe hiring and firing coaches every 3-5 years and threatening to fly banners like we have been is may not be the answer either.

stopped reading at I've said many times that MR averaged 2-3 loses

take some English lessons *******

How many great players and championships did he leave the "U" with to win with mediocre coaches? He is a **** of a recruiter and talent evaluator. Is your boy MR?

You have boxed yourself in with your own argument, sir. I'm vocally anti-CMR but you can't bring in W/L if you're advocating for Butch... he did plenty of losing barring 1 year. Truth be told, we're going to probably have to hire a coach with blemishes (aka a 3+ losses per year), that's how it goes... coaches who lose 1-2 games a year don't lose their job or look for new work.

Obviously the answer is to hire a coach with a career .750 or better average. Youre a genious!

Greatest argument ever:

OP-"But but but look at his average losses per year...derp derp...why would we expect anything else...derp"

also OP-"I'd bring in Butch just don't look at his average losses per year and expect something different!!!"

NEVER STOP POSTING BRO

The point made with MR's W/L% has to do with the lousy decision we made. Nothing else Sir!!

I think we get it by now. With that said 4 losses a year is better than the **** we had before. Not acceptable by any means but I guess in a really sad way and improvement. lol

Your rationale is why we are where we are.

No, I'm not the one making the decisions. Go ahead and try to find a coach losing 1-2 games/year to leave their school. AND on top of that have them not losing 3+ games per year or whatever bull**** stat you've concocted. You don't need math to realize that Richt has under-performed BUT you also can't advocate for someone without mentioning the same deficiencies...

Having been in the Management ranks for a long time I will tell you that hiring anyone is not a simple process. A previous Manager of mine said something to me about the hiring process that still resonates with me today and that is, "Hiring is 70% gut feel". I can tell you from experience that is a very accurate statement. When hiring a coach, a coach's their winning percentage is important however what is more important is what is in their minds, hearts and souls. Those are intangible things that are very difficult to detect. Having met MR, I just didn't feel it, having also met Butch, I did.

Just my opinion I formulated in the past few years, in my brief contacts with these gentlemen.

Nobody is perfect Sir, and that includes God for he created me and you.
