Expected Impact for Francisco Mauigoa??

So we can go back to not having any LBs and a ****** D. Quite a few DCs you can get without a buyout No thanks

To be fair it was one poster that asked if he would even be back after spring. I don’t think anyone wants to run the kid off, we just don’t think he should be starting here. You can like the kid because he is a Cane, a leader and tries hard af and still not want him getting heavy minutes.

I suspect there is a very fine line between Little Manuela and Guidry's D.

I'd offer Diaz's D is indistinguishable from Guidry's if Little Manuela's units didn't miss 50 tackles per game.

Good example is all the whiffs against Mich St. They make even 50% of what they missed and Miami maybe wins that game.

People think u hate a player if u dont like their talent, no one says its about a players effort. We just think offenses will go after said weakness, thats just what it is. Doesnt mean anyone hates the kid or wants him not to succeed in life sheesh.

good observation

Manny's D relied on having a jaquan johnson back there. we didn't after anyone like him he left and we got exposed. jaquan is in the league because he's smart and a reliable tackler. the post jaquan players couldn't tackle a sloth in a phone booth

To a degree, si.

However, Jaquan wouldn't have fixed all the missed tackles by each defender in back half of defense.

Some games it was almost on purpose it seemed. Benny Hill skit. Keystone cops futile.

My son said he's super charismatic. One of the standard setters / leaders. We need more folks like him not less!

I can only hope that the players that deserve to start, Start. Earned PT for real, not just talk of it. I hope all our guys get better and we begin having great depth across the board.

Man, I hope we tackle better. SMH
 
Hope he can do a better job in pass defense than we have recently had. Frustrating to see TE's wide open on seam routes or just sitting in the 5-10 yard range.
