Does anybody know how many we have on scholarship minus the graduating seniors?

Another poster commented Miami has lost over 30 players since the end of last season. That would be transfers, players declaring for the draft, graduates, players just straight up leaving, etc...

The disease was real.

The crazy thing is with the current scholarship rules and transfer rules the future might just be 2-4 year players who don’t start constantly being re-recruited and leaving to get playing time somewhere. This will hurt all programs.

I miss the days of taking guys, developing them, and watching them improve, but that's largely over now. That said, I would think this only hurt the apex programs. Everybody else is getting guys who were good enough to be taken by schools better than them. We get bamas guys who flirted with us but chose them, Rutgers gets ours guys...bama's the only loser here.

Its gonna be critical to over-recruit certain positions, and transfer portal others going forward.

Never impressed and shouldn’t have been here to begin with. If I remember correctly he came here kinda at the last min of re recruiting. But u gotta weed out the viruses

Curious is 80% of college football at limit on scholarships???

Not chucking it all on you.... but this notion that once we hit 85 schollys things will change and 10win seasons with Perennial playoff chasing will begin
15 more capable players would make a difference. We are thin right now at certain positions, like LB. Do we have much quality depth at OL. 15 more players, not garbage, but decent players, and we would probably have 1 or 2 LBs who could step in.

Njoku was nasty in 2018 Camp (which led to targets versus LSU). A scout said he looked like a future high draft pick.

His issues were injuries and focus.
Not saying you're wrong but is what you're saying about focus conjecture or did you hear specific things?
