The key is the timing of those changes. Again the larger the ship the larger the turn. New executives are always given time to hire their people, and apply their plan.

Our players are soft. Both Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech were more physical than us. Manny needs time to build his team, so firing him now would be silly and we would attract **** for a coach. I would like to see Manny given at least five years, like most other coaches.

I'm not suggesting we did. I'm suggesting that we've been outplayed and outcoached in our last 3 losses. GT had 1 win on the season and lost to Temple 24-2, and Citadel at home. They're in a literal complete rebuild going from the triple option because their roster was built for that. VT was a disaster last year and this year and Fuentes may or may not make it through the year. UNC was a 2-win team last year, but Mack Brown is not spouting off about rebuilds. All 3 of those schools were more prepared and beat Miami.

Everything that the team does falls on the head coach - they do what they were coached to do, and do what they're being allowed to do. This program doesn't have any accountability all the way from the top at the AD.

Yet, the offensive line hasn't seem to improve up to now. Also, other than Virginia and Florida, the offensive line hasn't exactly faced any legitimate Top 50 defense. But mighty Pittsburgh is waiting to BYTCH SLAP Manny's hapless assistant coaches come Saturn day.
