ESPN Ranks the top 21 Championship Teams of the BCS Era and the 01 Canes are not 1 or 2

Look at THIS nonsense...

2008 Florida at #2: "Nineteen players from that team were eventually drafted"

2001 Miami at #3: "The roster featured 38 future NFL draft picks, including 17 who went in the first round. Among the 22 starters in the 2002 Rose Bowl win over Nebraska to clinch the national title, 18 were drafted -- 11 in the first round."

Andrea Adelson talks about the "knock" on Miami being its schedule, and we had "close calls" against BC and VT...BUT MIAMI WAS UNDEFEATED AND FLORIDA MOTHERFVCKING LOST A GAME TO OLE ****.

Ridiculous.

Andrea Addledbrain is a sopping **** who has always hated on Miami.

Fvck her and her inbred brother too. ESPN saves it's worst writers to cover the ACC.

ESPN has previously said we were the best, this just happens to be one writers opinion. I think people have missed that.

That article from ESPN is absolutely atrocious. UF lost to an unranked Ole Miss team at home. They weren't hampered by injuries or suspensions in that lost. Texas at number 1 is laughable as is FSU 2013 at #4.

That article isn't even worthy for the National Enquirer.

Gotta put 95 Nebraska team somewhere in the mix.in the history of college football the 01 canes & 95 cornhusker team have to be 1 or2. I repeat nobody could stop these tw o.I'd love to of seen these teams play each other.

The 94 miami team almost beat that 94 Nebraska team close to that same 95 Nebraska team minus two starting defensive tackles IF I remember it right. I doubt that 94 Miami team was even a top ten Miami team. Miami was on top for a while and the defensive line wore out. That 2000 or 2001 Miami teams blows them all out.

Bet you that game wouldn't be blow out you r great great great grandkids would still be talking about it.by the way the 94 game it was the three holding calls called back to back on the last drive game that cost us that one.

Miami was a better team. I think that Riley was out. Johnson was out. Miami was up 17-7 in the third quarter.

The USC Vs Texas game that night was one of the most memorable non Miami games I have watched. Vince was incredible, and the talent on that USC roster was insane.

Both those teams get ******* wrecked by the 01 Canes, and so does the 08 gators team. The talent level of that Miami team is unrivaled, and it is an exercise in idiocy to try and suggest any team in the bcs/cfb era is better. There is no shorter path to exposing your bias than challenging the 01 canes for the greatest assembly of talent in this time frame.

If our defense could contain Micheal Vick, we would certainly contain Vince Young. Texas defense would be begging for mercy by the 3rd quarter.

Same thing with the Gators. Our defensive line would've eat Tim Tebow for breakfast. And Ed Reed would pick off those wounded duck passes.

**** our '08 team full of freshmen and Randy Shannon kept it close until the fourth quarter.

The article mentioned we were in the Big East, but failed to mention we beat two top 25 teams back to back for a combined score of 65-7, still an NCAA record. We handily beat rival Florida State as well.

The '08 Gators and 'Horns aren't even serious #1 candidates.

**** ESPN!

guy on ESPN radio this morning says that the 2001 canes should be the number one team and that he disagrees with that list

What a bunch of hooey! UT vs. USC was a great game but that doesn't put that UT team ahead of UM 2001.

Don't get me started on 2008 UF. Not. Even. Close.

Let's remind ourselves that this is the off season, not much to write about and they need click bait. Fish on!
