ESPN Ranks the top 21 Championship Teams of the BCS Era and the 01 Canes are not 1 or 2

Skip just said Zeke (who ain’t no scrub but still) is better than all three Portis, Gore and McGahee. Smh he been tripping lately

I questioned the article when I saw Texas #1. As soon as I saw the '08 Gator team #2, I moved on with my life because the writer obviously doesn't know anything about college football.

You didn't read the article.

You obviously didn't move on with your life because you didn't give even enough time to actually understand what you were reading.

So we struggled against two teams but the Gators struggled against a bad Miami team, and then got beat by Ole Miss. Talk about selective reasoning.

Vince that game, was one of the most dominant performances I've ever seen. He played out of his mind, so far above his typical play. I don't feel like that Texas team was all that, but that night Vince most certainly was.

We are obviously first. USC would be my second. The rest, whatever.

If Reggie Bush had not did that STUPID lateral USC would have likely scored and went on to win that game. I still get mad at myself for missing the end of that game. That night I went to sleep due to having to be at work early the next morning. USC was up by 10 with about 6 minutes left so I thought to myself, "oh USC got this." I woke up the next morning, drove to work, tuned to ESPN radio and all they talked about was how Vince Young had the game of his life and this was one for the ages.

Greatest CFB teams of the last 20 years:

1. 01 Miami
2. 04 USC
.
.
.
everyone else.

Side note: No teams with 1 loss should be ranked above undefeated teams on this list.

Then why did she tweet that she thought the 2001 Miami team was the best ever?

I don't know why dumb ***** do what dumb ***** do.

What dumb ***** do is right up your alley though. I'd have thought that a dumb **** like you would already know that.

I'd like to see these knuckleheads rankings. A few videos I've watched all say 01 Miami is number 1. There's no way any team ever matches the talent of Miami 00-02.

I was pleasantly surprised to see fans from all over, even OSU, replying saying how stupid this is and that the 01 Canes are simply the best.

We all know the truth and every few years some will come along and try to change the narrative but they will only be laugh at.

That was Butch Davis the GOD that put those squads together!

Can't wait for us to get back to that standard.

The 2001 team had 4 definite HOF on that team maybe 5 if Sean Taylor hadn't died. I've looked at the rosters of Texas and UF and saw none

Greatest Talent Ever ....no doubt

But playing Va Tech and BC so close should have been a warning on how average clappy was as a Head coach

Would love to see a list of Best 20 teams not to play for the BCS title.

1. 2000 University of Miami.

2-20 Doesn’t matter.

Coker got shook with the criticism he took when Miami followed up the close win over BC with consecutive 59-0 and 65-7 tortures of Top 15 ranked Syracuse and Washington. Greatest combined spreads over ranked teams ever, I believe.

But as usual, Miami was slammed as ‘unsportsmanlike’ and Coker was pussified. VT was not a bad team and was at home, but JJ would have whipped Beamer’s balls by 40. And followed that by cornholing the ‘Huskers by the same or worse.

I knew Coker was not the long term guy in his first game as HC, when he called off the dogs up 30-0 at the half at Penn State.

One of my favorite JJ stories was from Leon Searcy. Canes were up 51–0 at Arkansas late. JJ played at Arkansas and hated them for passing him over for the HC job. He told the starters if the backups allowed the Razorbacks to score late in the game the next practice would be the toughest ever. Arkansas scored, Miami blew the shutout and won 51-7. Searcy said JJ lived up to his word and the following Monday was ****.

Think Coker would have done that?

Skip said that Ken Dorsey was garbage.

He went 38-2 as the Hurricane starter.

He was a finalist for the heisman twice.

He set multiple school records previously held by some very good QB's.

Yeah, garbage. Double S was totally in the right here, Skip just trying to be controversial; even he knows you can't argue with 11 first round picks.
