The press, the fans but hopefully not our players are acting like beating a BAD gator team is like we won the NC. Realize with the portal many teams are filling voids, it should be obvious with the demise of fsu that every team is a threat, it is called PARITY. Even our great teams struggled against some teams yet many are predicting an undefeated season based on one game. Remember 2001 team and the BC game? Might be a good idea to look at the Florida A&M roster' Their OL is all over 300 pounds and most from the portal as is much of their roster. This is not the A&M we walked over in the past plus they already won 2 games. I'm not saying A&M will win, but I won't assume it will be easy, especially if our guys take them lightly.

As long as Cam is at the helm and Mesh, Bain, Kiko are leading the defense I don't expect any complacency. The past 20 years we lacked leadership in every way imaginable. Those 4 guys mixed with Big Coop I just don't see us taking anyone for granted.

This team looks incredibly focused & locked in. On the Cristobal show with Don Bailey MC specifically noted their OL is big and we aren’t taking them lightly. I have 0 worries.

I haven't felt this good about myself since the time I plowed a hot SDT in The Pit doggystyle. I could not stop smiling for several days. Then the burning sensation started and I got a lecture from the doctor as he handed me a prescription for penicillin. Don't be the doctor @fraggle.
 
We can enjoy the turn, drop, and climbs of the ride, and still know that it 's not the end of the ride!
I also think that FL will prove better than some think, which will make the ride even sweeter!

Enjoy the WHOLE ride (Season)!!!

Also, don’t sleep on FAMU because they’ve got some 300-pounders on their O Line…
 
Texas A&M was a big threat yet we defeated them and felt we had beaten a top team. A team who crashed and burned and fired their coach. Time will tell.

OP getting a lot of sh*t for this, but I don't really disagree. We've been bitten plenty by extrapolating one win into a big trend. That said, it was the Gators, so y'all carry on. What will be, will be. Looking at our schedule, I find it very hard to foresee a healthy Cam Ward engineering a train that derails like we've saw last season.
 
What we really need around here is some Cane fans to make sure that other Cane fans aren't having too much fun and aren't setting improper expectations for the rest of the year. Invaluable OP thanks
