Enos is fired

45th in the country on 3rd down conversion defense, with UNC, BCU, CMU, Duke, FIU, and GT on the schedule. Most important stat, they couldn't get themselves off the field. Smoke and mirrors - another bend but don't break.

Imagine if we played a real schedule.

That's because we stunted and dogged ourselves out of position time and time again at the most critical times. When is the last time we've seen our linebackers pattern read instead of spot dropping? We get killed on quick slants because our linebackers dog on third and long or manageable and it is an easy pitch and catch. Just amazing how Baker took our kids out of position way too much. Got to say our kids also would let down at critical moments because the offense either turned the ball over or went 3 and out in critical times in the 4th quarter.

The most important stat is how many points did they give up. They held 7 teams in the teens or less when you take into the account the offense and special teams giving up points to GT. 24th in the country in points with absolutely no help. After 13 games they finished 13th in yards given up. Less bending than you think.

YAWN

CMU, BCU, FIU, GT, DUKE, UNC

Bro what are u watching.. we were 130th in 3rd down conversions, going 3 and Outs repeatedly equal no rest for the D. It’s common sense, we are still top 12 in total defense. How many game did we get blown because of the defense ?

Another way to get rest? Stop giving up 3rd and 4th downs.

122nd in 4th down conversion defense.
