Emory

Starters were in on both sides still. Just because we took 9 out doesn‘t mean everyone went out with him smh.
the kid went through 4 progressions on one pass... when the **** have we seen any QB here do that?

I'm still scarred from Kyle Wright putting his head down and falling forward every time his first read wasn't there.

This kid is going to win a lot of games for us

It’s no way Jacurri is being kept off the field next year with his talent. He’s in a QB friendly offense with a Lamar Jackson skill set. He’s going to be the starter next year.
Unfortunately, his arm isn’t as talented as his athletic skills. He needs to improve dramatically in that department and I am not sold it happens. Plus, there will be a transfer QB coming in to compete, as well.

As for as progressions , understanding play design and having a full understanding of the playbook he’s on another level than most Fr. That doesn’t mean he’ll be great he’s just far along with the mental side. But he has much more physical talent than some expected.

JB has issues with deep ball accuracy and touch. Anyone with sense knew he was a 2 year project
In addition he is working on a new playbook. People know he is a project but are writing him off. He asked to be redshirt because he knows he has to work on alot of things.

yup, it's why the coaches secretly like him more than DVD.

I knew he was advanced in terms of the mental side. He's as close to a finished product in that regard as a freshman can be. But he looked frail in high school with a mediocre arm. I was pleasantly surprised when he was able to pack on some muscle and improve his arm strength in such a short time here.

They never learn. Jake Garcia should be the starter over D'Eriq King
Most people understand how far along Emory is for his age. That doesn’t mean he’ll be a long term starter or even play but we talked him up because he’s been eating all camp , even against the ones. Then when he came in the game he showed exactly what we’ve been saying.

Btw JG was nowhere in this kids universe with work ethic fully understanding the offense and progressions.

Imo some people just can’t give props because of his star rating.

His future at UM is a position switch, or the Portal. At this point, you either have accuracy and "touch" on your passes, or you don't.

Most sane people understand that he's advanced for a freshman.

Most insane people are calling for him to be our starter right now.

I still think there’s a lot there with him and he has great work ethic. He just needed time which I know people hate that word nowadays. Patience and time have been removed from peoples vocabularies.

Kid is a good QB. He needs to continue to develop physically and get more reps. In another 1-2 years, he could be the guy if he continues to develop.

He reminded me of Bernie Kosar. Multiple reads and appears intelligent and poised.
