Emory, is a winner

Go to battle with that kid any day. So sick for him. Kid wants to be great, wants to win. Get better young man.
Kid played his heart out and commend him for that. Not an easy out to make your first start as a freshman, on the road against a rival that is #4 team in the nation.
However, I think he’s just too limited physically.
He was terribly inaccurate and lacks arm strength big time.
We need QB in the portal in the worst way.

Kid is limited but he left it all out there today

Should never have to play. Any other decent program he’s a 2/3 year development but it’s Miami so he starts against your biggest rival in their house.
Yep.

A portal QB as a backup would’ve been nice vs rolling with 2 freshman as backups.

He could definitely benefit from a redshirt. He needs a good QB coach to help him develope & refine his instincts & mechanics. But I could see a scenario where he's starting as a Sr & it not a bad thing for us.

We obviously need a portal qb AND to recruit it better but even if we land elite guys, I can't help but feel they will be held back by the HC/OC.

Kid is a true freshman making his 2nd start, against a top-5 D, on the road, and a rivalry game. He might turn out to only be a high floor Stetson Bennett type, but in no way is he a finished product. I'd much rather have him under center than Low-T VD
