Emergency at practice

Bush to linebacker???? Carter I could see, but Bush is our best Safety.

Yikes...hope that he makes a full recovery, but at the very least, his year is probably done. It's just a shame as he was playing well and with lots of energy. Looked like a very promising young player. So now we are down Owens, Gayot, and Grace, while we also lost Armbrister and Perryman from last years team, so with our bogus 3-4 who will fill in? I say it's time to convert Gray and Walter Tucker (since they're not playing anyways) to linebacker and also let Bush play some linebacker once he returns. It's week 4 and we haven't played anyone, yet the injuries are piling up...Owens, Grace, Coley, Berrios, Gayot, Gus, etc.

That's some serious speculation there. We have no idea how serious this is yet. If it was strictly precautionary, like the article stated, he may be back for Cincy. We don't know yet.
It's hard to come back from these sort of injuries and be the same. I seriously doubt this is just precautionary. Remember Gunter a few years ago? It took him a while to recover. Even if he is okay, it will probably change the way he plays the game ala Stacy Coley and Malcolm Lewis so we need to come up with a solution because now our lack of LB depth has been EXPOSED. It always seem we suffer injuries at the positions we are the most thin at, but that's just how it goes.

Huh, what?

I
Geo says it's Gayot

would not be surprised with the luck of our program. I pray whoever it is it's just precautionary and not serious.

Our program would be luckier if some other poor kid broke his neck?

Thanks for showing everyone you really care more than everyone else. That's not what he meant you 5 star idiot

I demand an immediate retraction of that personal attack. That kind of micro aggression squelches the free exchange of differing points of view by scaring those of us who are a little more timid than guys like you.

Bush plays in the box all the time this year does very well in run support. Carter is more of a ball hawk so he needs to be back in the secondary. Same with Jenkins. If we really wanted to maximize our talent with all the injuries, we would be in a 4-2-5 with AQM and Chad (McCord as rush end), Hertelou and Cortel. Then Grace and Kirby at LB with Elder and Burns at CB. Bush would be like the rover and move around and help stop the run. Obviously Jenkins and Carter would be at safety. However, the coaches won't adjust their scheme to fit what talent we have left so we just have to hope they figure something out. I really hope Gayot can make a full recovery and get back on the field. We really need him.

What's the injury? I hadn't realized it had been released yet. Please fill us in if you have some inside info.

Great news!
But the Al golden spin machine is in full swing,
First berrios, Coley, then gator, 3-0. After that point we went downhill...but it starts with me

Carter is a ball hawk? Are you confusing Carter and Bush? Carter has 1 career int.
