Huge/Big/Enormous red flag.
Most jobs in America don't involve employment contracts.
And for those that do, the contracts take time.
Remember how long it took for Willie Taggart to do his contract with F$U?
Huge/Big/Enormous red flag.
True...It's also his first time in that situation, sometimes people are just trusting. Live and learn.
I want to make sure I understand how this works. So if you never actually done the thing yourself you can’t have a comment on anything else -that’s gonna make this board pretty ******* useless.Ed ain’t saying nothing prime wasn’t saying. And if you’ve never stepped foot on a HBCU campus or had any family attend one I don’t wanna hear y’all opinion.
He HAS been hired. His salary has not been formalized in a contract yet.
He doesn't seem to think so. And I would agree with him in principle. No contract and no pay (yet) is not what I would consider "employed".
or they add a stay off social media clause on his contractI hear ya. But he is driving around picking up trash, so he is acting employed. I guess we'll find out on Friday whether the EFT hits his bank account.
It’s a no go. I guess they were mad about his rant.
Dang... That's an abrupt and disappointing outcome..man was already on campus working in good faith without a contract only to be kicked out? It’s a no go. I guess they were mad about his rant.
I don’t blame them. It was unprofessional and unbecoming of a head coach. There is adversity and things you don’t like in any place of employment, but there is a proper way to address them. It’s a no go. I guess they were mad about his rant.
Great football mind, but he is in no way fit to be a head coach.Love Ed but if he had aspirations of coaching this isn't going to help his cause.
I'm not sure if he has the patience/PR skills to be a head coach anywhere... I've always wondered why he has never been a TV analyst kind of guy after the career he had and his popularity in general.. that's big bucks and easy money for somebody with his pedigree...Sucks for Ed. But he was already starting rants on the administration and hadn’t even signed his contract yet. This is not surprising.
