Early thoughts on Gattis?

Harbaugh hired a CO-OC and got more involved this past year. it wasn't all gattis with the offense. gattis was heavily criticized before this past year

Well we going to find out in the coming weeks. I don’t think it’s an exciting offense but I’m not the HC....I also think u can always convince an elite player to go somewhere even if they don’t use the position. Bama kept getting TEs and WRs a lot of schools get elite kids and we wonder why. As long as we stack when he moves on someone can play with those toys.

TVD was off from the jump. He missed a lot of open dudes today. Intermediate. Flat. Deep. Everywhere.

TVD likes to get in rythm early as that helps him get into the game so I would have him start throwing to TEs and RBs early, then run and then try to take some shots with our mediocre WRs vs T8&4.

Personally, I like this style of offense. Its multiple with an emphasis on establishing the line of scrimmage. Some of you folks are going way overboard. This will be a good offense imo.

Whatever happened the past two weeks and whatever anyone's thoughts on it are doesn't matter anymore.... Things have to open up this week... It has to... If we really want to win this both offense and defense have to kick it into overdrive pronto... Soft Football will not win...

Not saying they are good but last year they lost to a bad Miss St team and beat Ala the next week.

few turnovers
3rd down % is way up
rushing TDs - 9 in 2 games
ahead in time of possession

if one was thinking TVD with these WRs and OL was going to win us games
well, that was a mistake
we have been cool, casual and efficient
and when we need to, we can convert a third down b/c it's not 3rd and 11

think about our opening last year
our D stunk, but our O set us up for failure
we ran for 100 yards 6 times last year
duke, UNC, App St, CConn, GAGtech and UVagA
control the clock and LOS will help our porous D

Mario came in with a trenches attitude, let's let him play it out

we played Alabama to open the year. wed get beat by Bama too this year. we also played two horrendous teams this year. we haven't proven anything in terms of running the ball on any team noteworthy yet.

so - that does not state we are not improving in areas we failed in the past decade

what im saying its impossible to even know if we can even run the ball against better teams bc we've played two really bad ones. even our non conf teams last year were better outside of that central Connecticut bs. we have a really weak non conf schedule this year minus atm. Mario will have us better in the run game nd OL bc thats what he does. right now, its impossible to say we have wholly improved there bc we haven't faced anyone that can really challenge us

You may get them but with the new transfer rules it may be hard to keep them if they aren’t being used.

For instance, WR Burton (former cane commit) just won a natty with UGA as a starter, but said F this and transferred to bama.
