My GF in HS was ranked #2 in the State in HS Tennis in 1977 (different school)...So didn't have alot of time for all of them. Ended up getting a full Basketball schollie to Edison Community College in 78...but tore my knee up, and the schollie was pulled, leading up to a Pell grant to Culinary school.

**** pretty impressive. I would have played in high school but hockey conflicted with it. For me it was hockey and baseball or football, basketball, and baseball. Rolled with hockey and baseball and had scholarship offers but ****ed my shoulder up senior year. Decided to go local for school literally right next to my high school believe it or not.

Never took golf lessons before I would definitely benefit from a couple and probably knock 5 strokes off my game.

That being said, if this team plays how it did against A&M, they'll win. UNC stinks. If they sleepwalk through the game again like they did against MTSU, they'll get smoked. I highly doubt that though, you rarely play your absolute floor game back to back weeks. They'll be a lot more inspired Saturday and play a lot better. -4 is a pretty good line.

People also don’t understand the coaching decision wasn’t up to us fans. We had 1 of 2 coaches this year Manny or Mario and 90% that are hating on him now would have taken Mario.
 
We aren’t winning this game. The crowd will turn on our players as soon as something goes wrong also.

I LOVE Hockey...am a HUGE Islander fan....Loved those early Islander teams...Bossy. Trottier, Nystrom..etc...

Is money a factor in this analysis? Because if you told Mario Cristobal would be getting a top 10 salary for infinity, I guarantee I would have said keep Diaz at his salary and put the other 5 million per year into NIL. I think 90% of us would agree that even with Diaz, if a UM NIL collective had paid 3.5 million to get Addison and 1.5 million for a top CB, we'd be cruising to a 10 win season.

I've been playing it since I was like 5 or 6. Still play in men's leagues once it gets cold here. Lightning fan all day and no I didn't become a fan when they won back in 2020 lol. Steve Yzerman was my favorite player growing up and once he became Tampa's GM and started turning that organization around he got me hooked.

No it’s not because that wasn’t on the table. The only choice we had was Manny with maybe an increased budget in certain areas or Mario who was only going to come with certain demands appeased.

Bossy (RIP) was my Guy....Gretzky said, that if he'd have played with Bossy, that he'd be the Greatest ever. His slap shot (wasn't really a slap) was 2nd to none. I did however root for the Rangers in 94.

TrumpyCane wants to know why would we pay a CB 1.5 million to play man off soft zone?

TrumpyCane would also have loved to know what OC was coming here to play for ***** knowing the only other hottest seat was in ****?

I prefer the Islanders over the Rangers. Tampa plays Florida a couple Fridays from now, I'm highly considering getting tickets since I'll be down there.

They also said Diaz was a dead man walking after his 1st year and that firing Enos after just one season would ruin Diaz's rep and he'd never find a good OC to take the job. I think there would be some good young OCs (like a Garrett Riley or Willy Korn from CC) that would have loved a chance to work with TVD.

And they also said no quality DB coach would be crazy enough to coach for Diaz. He still got T-Rob to take the job in 2021.

As for WRs, I think they would be interested in making several million in NIL money, while playing with a record breaking QB and an offense that was still top 25 with a bunch of jags at WR.
 
I know next to nothing about Vegas spreads but don’t you guys think that as the week progresses the spy’s will get word about our injuries and that line will drop to a pickem?

I think his point was keeping Diaz, meant keeping his defense. One CB wasn't fixing his defense. Also, Lashlee was gone so we would also be breaking in a new offense. So we drop 5 mil on 2 players and still let Manny stay in charge, trying to prove his defense works?
