Early Line: UNC vs Canes

TVD is starting, this offense will continue to be stuck in mud.

Look at UNC and the money line.

People just keep glossing over this point.

The reason why UNC will be able to stop the run VS Miami is that they don’t have to respect the WR’s.

They can play Cover-1/Robber coverages because their DB’s can shut down the Miami receivers.

Southern Miss wrote the intro, TAMU wrote a the chapters, and MTSU finished and published it.

Load the box, jam the **** out of their soft WR’s and outnumber them in the box.
This is exactly what they did against VT on Saturday. Was basically a scrimmage getting them ready for the same game plan this weekend.

And since college football teams are so consistent, we are going to lose by 30. Done deal.

I rarely bet, but I'm going to put $25 on UNC to cover because I know I'll be ****ed when UM's record is 2-3 after Saturday and I see the Lane Train roll over Vandy to make them 6-0. Making money always makes me feel better.

Butch LMAO.

What a fanbase this is. Truly special.

That being said, if this team plays how it did against A&M, they'll win. UNC stinks. If they sleepwalk through the game again like they did against MTSU, they'll get smoked. I highly doubt that though, you rarely play your absolute floor game back to back weeks. They'll be a lot more inspired Saturday and play a lot better. -4 is a pretty good line.
Passed on a 70 year old HC. You literally can't make this up.

My God, how is Butch is still a thing. Only Miami fans.

He's a thing because HE developed the Greatest Collection of talent in NCAA History. And since all HIS kids had left in 2004...we've been a joke of a program since....that's not just a coincidence. Nobody said to hire him after 2012/13....but the staff he had ready to follow him to UM those yrs....sh*ts on our current staff.

We passed on butch and lane kiffin. Most of you wanted MARIO the pitzza maker. U all wanted him, well u got him
Hello there my far north friend, I see you're still engaged at some level with this Jerry Springer forum... well let me opine some too.

While I had a short friendship with the lovely Cristobal parents during Luis' and Mario's playing years, I personally didn't want Mario to coach the U, rather I wanted him to stay with the Ducks and wished him the best there. However, CIS insiders said that Mario was very interested in returning home to be with his family and parents whose health was worsening.

As much as Butch did to our program years ago, along with his recruiting genius, I believe now he's not the messiah that will take us the promised land... besides he'll be 71 next month. His abysmal record at UNC and FIU doesn't help either. However, his hat trick in the 2019 flop-bowl when he spanked us was amazing stuff.

One last thing... don't think that there were a lot of fans (especially on CIS) that wanted Mario... and I'm not counting the cretin Cuban bashers in the equation either.

His abysmal record at UNC??...He was building a Monster there....and spanked us twice, with wayyyy less talent...
That abysmal FIU team also embarrassed us.
NOBODY in their "right" mind (including myself) wanted him after 2012/13...

Yes his last year at UNC was promising at 8-5, until the bullshyt hit the fan and cost him the job. Actually, for what it's worth, his time there speaks about the premise that it takes time to build a program

So much scared money in this thread. UNC gave up 45 at home to an awful Notre Dame offense. They beat a VaTech team that got blown out by the worst team in B12 WVU. Guaranteed every chicken little in this thread would of bet Oklahoma -5.5 vs TCU, UGA -30.5 vs Mizzou or Pitt -21.5 vs GT. IMHO MTSU was the noise not the signal.

SP+ has Canes by 3 and 58% chance of winning.

Opened at -3 has risen to -4.5 at some books despite public money pouring in on UNC.

I hope to get the Canes -3 later in the week.

He was completely vindicated by both UNC and the NCAA in the UNC debacle...in all honesty, it was UNCs Basketball program that was the problem (McCants...etc..)
In Dallas as a DL Coach for his first SB Ring, he had the best DL in the NFL....for his second SB Ring as a DC, he had the NFLs best Defense...And it was Butch who closed on most of the Great UM players from 84-88 unbeknownst to many.....People don't realize, but Butch offered Hester a full ride when he was in 9th grade.

@Mklein13 ....I literally grew up on a Golf course from 75-78 at the Cape Coral Country club (no longer there) I took lessons from 2 PGA pros, Bill Kennedy, and Joyce Cranford.
Love the game till this day.
Good stuff. I try playing every weekend, unfortunately can't get out after work during the week since it's dark by 6:30 and I can't play just 9, has to be 18.

Love the game....The Late LPGA Great Patty Berg was the Pro at Lochmore Country Club in North Ft Myers in the 70s...anytime I had the chance I'd pick her Brain (since Lochmore was close to my HS) Would have played in HS...but I lettered in 3 Sports already, and it would've been too much. My GF in HS was ranked #2 in the State in HS Tennis in 1977 (different school)...So didn't have alot of time for all of them. Ended up getting a full Basketball schollie to Edison Community College in 78...but tore my knee up, and the schollie was pulled, leading up to a Pell grant to Culinary school.
