Well, he obviously didn’t pick FIU over Miami, so Cristobal wasn’t going to retain him.

Seems like a nice guy + decent recruiter, but I recall someone here saying that the players didn’t really respect him as a coach.

MacIntyre had a 10 win season at Colorado in 2016 and a 10 win season at SDSU in 2012. Defensive minded coach with NFL experience. DVD could do much worse.

Solidify and lock in those SFL relationships. Recruit some underrated SFL talent and do your best to develop them. If he can do that then not crazy to think he'll get snagged by a lower-level P5 program and/or strong G5 program.
