DVD seemed like a great recruiter who connected to the kids but probably not qualified to be a DB coach here. Would have loved to keep him in an off the field role recruiting but he wants to be a coach and end up back here one day so good for him. Great spot for him!

MacIntyre had a 10 win season at Colorado in 2016 and a 10 win season at SDSU in 2012. Defensive minded coach with NFL experience. DVD could do much worse.

Solidify and lock in those SFL relationships. Recruit some underrated SFL talent and do your best to develop them. If he can do that then not crazy to think he'll get snagged by a lower-level P5 program and/or strong G5 program.

San Jose St not San Diego St. Which is a lot more impressive because San Jose St much like FIU was a perennial dumpster fire while San Diego St has always been a very good program.

great call, recruiting is only 50% of story.... player development is the other 50% and this has really been a shortcoming in past 15-20 years

Pretty much makes Rod Chance a lock for CB coach. I’m hoping they plan to keep TRob on staff as well.

I like DVD. I hope he builds up his resume and maybe we can bring him back in a few years.
