Duke Johnson blown up

For all the Duke haters how many games do we win without him? 3?

who knows but we certainly lost games because of his fumbles.

Right, because giving up 400 rushing yards and 30 points on defense and playing a true freshman qb who our coaches had no confidence in had nothing to do with it.

the game was in reach..down 3 with driving at midfield but duke fumbles for a TD....killed everything right there.

So let me see if I follow your backwards logic here.

A fumble that Nebraska scored on with 18 minutes left in the game when we were already down 3 lost the game because the team was unable to rally together and recover with a full quarter and change to play? Okay, Alfred.

If you're going to try validate your baseless opinion, at least try and make it somewhat coherent.

Dudes a troll . He's **** bayless

Again, if we don't give up almost 400 yards rushing to a team with only 13 passing attempts (which means we should have 8-9 in the box), we would not have been in the position we were. I'm not giving Duke a pass on the fumble. It was what it was, but unrealistic to watch guys try to pin an entire loss on one play in the 3rd quarter when there were so many other issues.

I hope when Al goes, that you go with him, because you are an Al Golden fan, not a Miami fan.

Cause Duke had so much running room against good teams, right? We weren't getting our assess kicked upfront at all. Nah.

Good RB's avoid multiple tackles in the backfield and blow through Linebackers on a routine basis.

+1000
I notice all the Duke haters seem to be avoiding your comments. I also notice that common sense and logic seem to have a similar effect on idiots.

Dude finally sees action then is one play and done. Thanks a lot Josh McCown. Great throw.

WOW!!!! That was vicious. I think I would have just laid there for the rest of the game and enjoy that fresh grass smell.

Yall know my stance about duke and his lack of big moments against big teams, the O-linemen thing is a little dumb when he had guys starting in the NFL blocking for him but lets get back to the convo about duke going to probably the worst team for him to go to in cleveland, i really feel for him there that team is a black hole, i feel sorry for the fans because the browns do deserve a good team, imagine if duke was drafted by belicheck or kelly he would light up the NFL, instead he gets drafted by cleveland and their crappy offense

All the arguing will be over soon. Don't worry Canes fans, the Fraulden Curse will soon be gone.

We'll be free in 93.

....ignoring facts and reality.

Please enlighten us as to just how well those now nfl olinemen actually performed in those particular "big games". Waiting. Waiting. Waiting........

Are you guys serious?

If this wasn't expected by the majority, what have you been watching the last 3 years?

"Oh but he's in the record books"

Blah blah blah

Look, I love Duke. But please tell me what formidable opponent he had great games against in college.

Couldn't break free vs uf.

Fsu was cryptonite.

He had average games versus GT and VT with an exception.

South Carolina?

Nope.

Looked like a world beater vs Boston college, and all the softies that we played. Often injured and fumbling on clutch drives.

He has 1st round measurables, 1st round stats, and a top ten attitude, yet he was a third round pick by Cleveland. They must have saw the same things I saw. I am not taking anything away from Duke, he earned everything he has. But at the same time, it is what it is.

This is a load of mindless propaganda initially generated by Folden's army to shield that fat f@qgit from criticism. It always starts with "I love Duke, BUT...". Then, said imbecile goes on a tirade about how Duke was basically a bum who managed to break UM rushing records in 2.5 years of game activity by inputting fake stats in the record books through some sort of hacking scheme.

"Yeah, but he never did anything against a top 2 defense."

"That's right, bro! All the great backs we've had have run for 200 every time we played a great defense, bro!"

They conveniently ignore him going off on VT by coming up with some dumb excuse about VT not being a good defense against us but only against other teams. They forget his good games against FSU. They forget how he singlehandedly won us several games. Fcking morons.

I definitely wouldn't consider his measurables first round.

And the kid went for 127 yards vs FSU last year, and 97 by the 3rd quarter the year he broke his ankle , wtf more do you want in those games?

That is what happens when hour HC trashes you as a trouble maker to the scouts. Golden hates talented kid cause he was not one. Duke was practically a perfect college player: talent, hard work, grades, morals, record breaking performances, love of the fans-- everything Al never had. Like his minions, Al hates Duke because that boy is everything Al could never be.

I am not lazy at all, so I will go back and watch them for YOU in order to come up with the proof for YOUR argument. I just need to know which ones they are. Let me know which games the oline played well, but Duke didn't. You can at least manage to do that right?

Not sure what this play has to do with his career at the U. That play was on the quarterback.

But there are reasons he dropped to the 3rd round even though he was one of the best backs we have had at the U.

Duke was wide open as the outlet, but McCown threw the ball way too late, too soft, and very high, and left Duke out to dry.

It should be noted that he took a few moments to regain his senses then went to the sidelines and was ready to go back in, but the doctors told him he had to undergo concussion protocol.

Half the skill players in the NFL get lit up on that play, the other half either gator arm the catch or don't attempt the catch at all.

Don't see how Duke having balls all of a sudden becomes a debate on his future career in the NFL.
