Fun fact, he used to run keg south down in Miami and that's where he got the idea for Duffys
Just read a more detailed article about this. Some real estate "consortium" from New York with a DJ. They talk about making it a "destination" for "locals." It already was that, you *****.I saw that Shuckers in 79th street was also sold and will be reborn as an upscale on the water eatery for the ruling elite.
The locals all left Miami years ago. It’s just a Disney world tourist trap for douchebags and Instagram celebrities now.Just read a more detailed article about this. New Yorkers ruin everything they touch.

This true @PIPO
Even the post 1980 crowd is mostly gone. I’m not talking about the suburbs but if you go into the city, the people living there are mostly recent transplantsWellllllll...you probably have to divide "the locals" into pre-1980 and 1980-onward.
Pre-1980 locals are long-gone.
Just being honest, though it's a sad statement.

Depends on the definition of locals and what part of town you are talking about. This true @PIPO
the notion that all locals are gone is a fallacy. the old Miami Anglo community (especially the ones that called Miami My Am Muh) is mostly gone but not my parents' generation or my generation that came here in the early 1960s.

if you like to drink, 7 Seas likes to pour. last time i was there, on a school night tuesday, shane battier was there hosting karaoke. That's where I took my wedding pics!!
I went to Duffy's twice and boaf times they didn't sauce my wings. Gave me the sauce on the side.
Never went back after that and I lived right off 64th. 7 Seas though was a fun place along the lines of Headquarters and The Pilot House![]()
Sports Grill now is absolute mierda. I went to the Doral one a couple months ago and it was sooo bad.Is hammocks grill still open? Know it used to be a stand alone sports grill and changed names, kept all the same recipes but did them so much better compared to what sports grill is now. Probably one of the only things I miss after moving away
I'm from 1986, but grew up in WPB and live in Plantation.Even the post 1980 crowd is mostly gone. I’m not talking about the suburbs but if you go into the city, the people living there are mostly recent transplants
I’d believe that, but hammocks grill was kinda an old school sports grill. Kept all the same recipes and everything and is now a stand alone location separate from them, I’d go there every year for the birthday until I moved about 8 years agoSports Grill now is absolute mierda.
