Fond memories - a couple of surly as **** bartenders. Watching McGuire set the record.

Unfond memories: Canes losing to Syracuse (bigly) and that OSU debacle.

I used to like to hit the Shucker’s happy hour on Friday nights. I’d drop the boat at 79th street ramp and get there just in time to order a pitcher and some wings/calamari/whatever else was on the HH menu. Then we’d rip through the port and hit up Finnegan’s on the river.

My younger years when I was crazy enough to boat in Miami at night time

Is hammocks grill still open? Know it used to be a stand alone sports grill and changed names, kept all the same recipes but did them so much better compared to what sports grill is now. Probably one of the only things I miss after moving away
Yup still open and still great. The only sports grill that’s better than sports grill!

can someone help me out. . . what was the name of the sportsbar in a stripmall where you could park on the roof, now closed, that was across the street (US1) from the datran building/shorty's. also, when did it close? finally, nobody's discussed the sad demise of lipstick, the finest gentlemens club in pinecrest.

Hooligan's or Hoolihans?

Very sad. I grew up very close to Duffy's... when I was old enough, I did the Red Rd. bar scene including Duffy's and the 19th Hole, then we would chow down at the Blue Grotto.
Very sad.
