Dredrick Snelson is making his commitment on Saturday

A lot of folks on this thread doubtful about the staff wanting snelson.

Im guesssing thats because he was a 3 star as of this morning? What do you guys say now that espn ranked him the number 11 player in the class? I was on the same page as you guys but it really shows how much we really know.

didn't the staff tell him to hold off his commit?

Hold off on the commitment for a week? Doubt it. If he wasn't a take right now, then they wouldn't let him commit.

mom told him too hold off so that he and his family could sit down and make sure it was 100% what he wanted, seems like the type of kid that would honor his commitment.

well I don't expect every wr to still be on the team come August 2016 there are always guys who leave. I don't think we will be done if more elite talent wants in but the staff won't push for another wr commitment. They'll look at jr film decide which guys are elite and if they have the space contribute to recruit them.

Snelson is athletic enough to make the switch to DB but I believe he is being recruited as a WR

I have said before, I expect 5-6 to be taken, 7 most. Some could be athletes. We have two taken already so.... I see spots left for only 3-5 more of these legit 8 we have a shot at. Some guys are gonna get left out. Only so many you can take. We'll see how it unfolds, but I believe Irvin Jr should already be considered a commit. So really down to 2-4 more spots, with 7 legit chances left.

For all I know though. This Dymond Lee kid could end up out of the conversation. Just cause Kaaya came doesn't mean other Cali kids will. Yeah he was Kaaya favorite target but it's not out the realm that the kid wants to stay in Cali too.

I'm not sold on Gibson as a pro style QB ever, but getting Snelson, Bruce, Mullins, Scarlett might have Gibson rethinking? If we changed to a spread option I would bring him at QB.. I think Gibson might give us 1 more look before committing to Tenn. Do you think we have a shot now?

Gibson could definitely give us a look if Snelson comes or Johnson or both. Both have ties to Miami.

I don't even know if tenn wants Gibson anymore they have 2 qb commits already
