The highest paid employee at the university clearly does not want to be here, is absolutely failing at his job, and is hated by almost everyone outside the program is still employed. He goes AWOL at any given moment, refuses to address his failing philosophy and staff, and let's other schools out recruit him in his own back yard is still employed.

All the while UM has raised over a billion dollars, have shared revenue from the ACC, and recieve 1.5M donation to the football teams refuses to pay a buyout. All caused by their incompetence and unwillingness to spend the necessary money for a quality coach and staff, and decision making of giving a 6-6 coach a multi-year extension for sticking with them for Cloud that they created by allowing a Ponzi schemer to run wild throughout the program while turning a blind eye as long as the checks were coming.

To me UM has failed the fans, the players, former players, and all other parties that loved the U because of the football program. It's like those who are in charge are embarrassed to believe that the U is what it is today because of the football program and nothing else. Time to pay homage to that and give back to the die hard canes fans what they care and want the most and that's a great football team.

Welp, that about sums it up....

This is also hurting other people. No one is going to buy from vendors at no life stadium because no one will be there. no revenue from parking, all those people working there will be less and less because no one is attending therefore no pay for them. Harry and the other Miami stores will be making less money therefore less people working in the stores. this is a complete trickle down for everyone involved
i'll find something else to spend my money on. Already told the wife, if it has a []_[] on it, I don't want it.

Hopefully the whole thing burns. If UM is going to spit in the faces of the fans, alumni, and players, we need to hit them in the only place the cheap crooks care, their pockets.

TIFWIW

This was the same guy who told me Cronkrite would decommit if Walton reclassified.

And I kept on sharing it. The day Walton reclassified. Cronk decommited the same day.

And I respect token and believe what he says as he's very close to the Westminister team and situation there but my source told me that it would happen when Walton reclassified.

My source has been right in the past numerous times and he's been wrong a few times as well.

Just as Pete and others here. We can't sit here and predict and tell you everything spot on 100%. No one can. We tell you what we know, find out or learn over time.

Pete has been wrong in the past and I still respect him cause he does bring a great point of view to the board and good insight.

I would rather share this than for you guys sit like ducks.

Geo playing the "Pete's been wrong before, and you still like him" card. Desperation setting in.

I think if by Monday or Tuesday, Blake James makes any kind of statement, it shows Geo was correct. I honestly doubt it will be an out right firing. The only way I can see Golden leaving is if they agree to a buyout (not full cost), and they split ways. I don't think Golden and his family want to be here. I just think that he waited too long. He probably won't be able to get a very good job right now because there aren't any available.

And if any BOT member doesn't fire Golden, even after he said he wouldn't fire Donofrio or certain assistants, it just goes to show they don't deserve to be on the board in the first place. If they can't even handle firing a coach in a completely obvious situation, there is a much bigger problem at this school. If they can't even make the correct decision in firing Golden, it really isn't surprising that UHealth isn't doing so well.

This recruiting class is lost. It cannot be saved, no matter who the coach is, the damage is done. The question is will we be able to save the 2016 class. And honestly unless Golden is going to be gone by monday, or mid way through the season at the latest, I doubt the 2016 class will finish top 10, even though it should finish top 3.

Agree with what you're saying. However, this shouldn't be the school or the AD's problem.

If he stays it will go down as one of the most entertaining seasons in Miami history. Good god the abuse that man is going to take.

ooooooooooooooo wwwwweeeeeeeeee

It is our problem, because obviously the BOT are not going to fire him. He isn't going to be fired, therefore we need Golden to really hate being here, and willing to walk away. And if he was willing to leave, it probably is a little too late, because most of the jobs are taken now. If we had been hearing that they were working on an agreement last month this would have been extremely exciting news. Now it just sucks because we see that the BOT has serious problems making decisions, and it's not hard to imagine this only applies to football.

It is the only thing I'm looking forward to.
I won't support or watch anything Miami football related, but I will absolutely join in the abuse of a pathetic, egomaniac piece of **** like Al Golden.
