Looking back i see what yall mistake was. Yall painted man as some meat head who would be stubborn and not change from something that's not working. Namely bro style offense etc. All coaches make bad hires and based on their resumes Gattis and Steele seemed like ok hires, even the assistants. But then he realized he needed hungry coaches with things to prove, much like the program.

Lol thats cause ya'll fell in love with the Idea that a "X's & O's" coach could've turned the program around instantly when in reality we needed a full reset in terms of talent aquisition and overall culture, something that Mario was known for well b4 he was even a thought as HC of Miami. I was ecstatic when he got hired cuz i Knew dude was gonna have us looking diff eventually jus off of recruiting alone. Ppl argued Kiffin should've been hired back then instead and I always pushed against it because I knew a guy like him would never turn Miami into the Dynasties of our glory days. He would've gotten us a couple more wins those first few years n looked respectable faster only to pull the same Mercenary bull**** he always does. Yes Mario had his bumps just like any other coach conducting a full strip down n rebuild so i dont blame the pessimists but we've improved every single year under him and next year "should" end with #6
Facts. We looked like a JV squad playing Bama & Clemson under manny smh and ppl expected a coach to take that level of talent to 10 wins lol smfh. Lucious stanley should never be able to get carries @ THE U

I agree with your 1st sentence, but imo the bigger problem has been HOW the offense has chosen to establish the running game. The lack of diversity in the running game exhibited by Dawson's offense has been one of the biggest problems plaguing this team, & why it has failed to get established against quality defenses. Introducing a new wrinkle like running out of the pistol which he adopted this past CFB playoffs, is something he could've done a lot earlier.
