I get a kick out of thinking about the posters that would talk mad smack about Chaney before he was committed and thinking he wasn’t sincere in his UM interest. Someone can dig up some pretty entertaining threads if they wanted to
not to defend the posters who bad mouth the kid cause i wouldnt, but back in those times, chaney wasnt exactly a Miami "lock" his intrest in UGA then was legit, he wanted to commit on not 1 but two of his visits but pops told him not to and to hold off, when the richt staff was let go thats when things were bleakest for Miami but his visit visit back to miami after hickson was brought in is what helped him realize staying home was best for him, The chaneys are as straight and no bs family as they come don is locked in with UM all the way.

It really ****es me off that the kids we have committed have to answer questions like this every f*cking interview. They basically convince the kid it’s normal and inevitable to flip.

I don’t buy into a lot of the ‘anti miami’ rhetoric that’s posted on here. But this narrative rattles me. In two weeks we’ll get another article questioning his commitment level.

Great article from a uga reporter. This kid is as loyal as they come. We give all these flakes from south Florida all of this attention but we really need to be praising guys like don Chaney an ELITE and best recruit from south Florida and arguably the whole state being this big on the Canes because in recent years it hasn’t happened that often

Is there a sliver of hope there for the Bulldogs? He does not expect to visit any more schools.

“Nah,” he said. “Shut down. Locked. With a hundred locks on there.”

But, but, but, he was about to do the Gaytor chomp...

Thank God for this kid. You know, it was mentioned last year regarding Tyrique Stevenson that it would tell us a lot about him if he was strong enough to say no to the bags. Well dammit, this Chaney kid needs to be getting all of the props that people were ready to give Stevenson if he would have chosen UM. I cannot wait for this kid to get on campus. He's going to be special.

Yeah, the difference is Chaney is a grown *** man, Stevenson is a big homo.

Next to 247 composite rankings come in "Don Cheney has been dropped down to a 3 star and is now the 60th ranked rb in the nation" Jk jk

ELITE caliber athlete with NFL upside & is one of the top 3 RB's in the nation.

Call me biased all you want, but I'm taking Chaney over Bowman, Knighton, Bijan Robinson & Kendall Milton. Only RB's I think on the same level are Zach Evans & Jase McClellan.

He's got more upside than Lingard coming out HS imo (and I think Lingard will be great once healthy), due to his balance & ability to cut. Lingard has more pure straight line speed, but runs high & isn't as shifty, Chaney is a power to speed combo runner with great field vision.

The trio of Chaney, Lingard & Cam Harris next year will be deadly! I honestly feel between this season & next year our rushing attack is going to return back to the glory days when we used to have the most lethal RB groups in all of college football.
AMEN!! I agree! Thank you for your thoughts.
