Does anyone have actual intel on Tyreic Martin?

Lulz at us counting on this guy. This is the difference between us and the elite teams. Until we get a deep, elite and monstrous DL stacked with NFL talent, we will always be playing catchup.

No one is counting on him. He'll still probably be 3rd string next season. He's a total enigma, and people are fishing for more info.

Or he’s a talented developmental player who was:

1) redshirted due to injury year One
2) Was behind veterans year 2

Not playing does not equal bad. Context.

It sure as **** does not equal good.

Lololololol. I think he’s someone that could surprise. I could be absolutely dead wrong though.

Can’t knock it till you try though.

Big Hoss Fines was ahead of him all season.

Big Hoss Fines just transferred to seek more playing time.

We knew Martin needed time to grow into the position. He was very raw.

Now if he's not in the rotation this year then prepare to back up the trash truck.

This is what a prototypical Miami DT recruit should look.

Who is this kid???!?!

Jordan Davis committed to UGA but wasn’t given a letter of intent on early signing day

6’6” and 330, little tall for a Miami prototype DT. Ours where more 6’1 to 6’3 or 4. Hard for tall guy to get low in short yardage or avoid blocks to get into backfield quick. More NT space earner for 3-4.

Watch the triple team that can barely handle Jordan Davis, keep in mind this was him as a junior he is bigger and stronger now! He is perfect to replace norton. Also Jon Ford is 6'5" and he is DT coach Kul is salivating over.

Ford's upside is higher than any DT we have had here in a while. I would also say Garvin's upside is as well for DEs. How these two go, will determine if we are legit.

I think Kul focus is DEs and height is an asset there. Look back at our great DTs and see their heights.

None of you know where Martin is at right now. Mcintosh isnt the prototypical size for a DT either but he is very effective due to quickness and technique. Perhaps we wait and see how he performs this year before condemning the kid.
