-Someone posted a thread trying to convince folks not to renew their season tickets
-A bunch of folks who were not planning on renewing have happily chimed in
-Anyone who claimed they would be renewing was immediately shouted down as an enabler, a loser, etc.

So, like everything else that CIS touches, the thread was a total failure.

Funny reading idiots talk about how not renewing won't work. Season ticket holders are the hurricane club. While most give the minimum, Many us give far more than out tickets cost. They dont care about your season tickets....by all means do what you want, your money. Just food for thought. Season tickets are cheaper then selling per game.

The stadium is half empty all the time and if Miami relied on people going to the game the program would have shut down years ago.

Miami is top 5 in most watched teams which is why they are on TV every week even though we lose to FIU and Duke. 3 of top 5 broadcasted games in college football have Canes in them. It is a national brand. The merchandising, ACC, etc. is what make the program tick along with boosters.

But again, your money, spend how you want....but dont think you are hurting them by not renewing.

What TV coverage?!? If it wasn’t for the Internet streamers we couldn’t watch half the games. Canes haven’t been prime time worthy for years. The only time any major carries them is when the OPPONENT is marquee, not the Canes.
