I've always been one of the pro quincy wilson guys on this forum. I like the idea of playing press coverage with bigger corners. Dorito obviously does not like that, so therefore, quincy would not fit our scheme because he uses his hands and likes to get physical instead of sitting back in soft zone. Also, quincy and Chad who owns the gridiron stud HL video company are very influential with the younger guys. Now quincy continues to bad mouth miami, which is why sam bruce, and more of the younger kids are doing the same. Like it or hate it, they are pretty influential in SF recruiting wise and us passing on him may hurt a little in the long run as well.

Unfortunately for you he can't play press coverage. He is way too slow, so that kind of kills your thought process.

There are miles of tape of him playing press coverage quite well. Do some research. 4.60 laser timed 40 plenty fast enough at 6'2". Is there anything else you want to tell me about playing cornerback in the game of football?

Mr. Wilson, your son posted during the summer a vine (video on social media) where he received a UM football mail and decided to stomp on it and throw it away...that is VERY immature especially since it was still early on the process. I'm sure the coaches received word of this. Also, your son would bash all his friends who elected to attend Miami, including Moten. I'm sure Quincy is a very good kid but he handled this situation as poorly as Miami did in regards to talking to you.

You guys have absolutely no idea what a recruit goes through. Absolutely NONE! The stuff coming from fans, reporters, etc. is not something you could begin to wrap your mind around.

Our very own reporter Nash Williams has gone through the D1 recruiting process with his son and filled us in step by step along the way. He didn't trash UM when they didn't offer his son, Defetus

Big balls Chad to come in here like this. Regardless of how I feel you and your son handled things, you get props for coming in and facing the proverbial music.

Cherry picking what questions you want to answer on an anonymous message board is facing the music?

Opposed to not showing up at all. Get a grip dude. Change your tampon and go get some ****. You'll be alright in the morning. Anyone who lets this stuff affect their lives this much needs to do the aforementioned. Repeat until your delusion wears off.

Reading all of this I am not surprised that Q acts as immature as he does. With that said, ballsy move to come on here by Chad.

Who cares if this guy is real or not signing day is over, Q.Wilson is a Gator and UM has plenty of DB targets that don't need pampering in the '15 class..have fun Gator chompin with Quincy on the bench these next couple of years bruh. Entitled for WHAA?
you sure they dont need pampering? Those kids you are talking about have said some of the same stuff about the staff and played on a teams with this so called "pampered" player.

Chad,

As a coach from a different state(AZ), why do a majority of the SFla coaches seem like they are entitled and/or put themselves and their rep/egos/etc in the middle of their student athletes recruiting/futures?

I am honestly embarrassed for you and your family for all of this nonsense. As a high school coach, even if you privately feel a certain way about a coach and/or school, it is absolutely inappropriate for you to burn bridges publicly, especially on social media, as this affects, not only your son, but future recruits from your school. Quite simply, its a conflict of interests and closes the door on possible scholarships opportunities for your student athletes.

Hopefully you and your son can mature going forward and see that you were in the wrong.

On a serious note Chad..

Your son put up a Vine video on his account where he is outside of your house reaching in your mailbox and pulls out offers from UF, FSU, UM, a couple others and he proceeds to throw the UM one rig out of the stack onto the ground laughing at it...

Doesn't sound like he cared about hearing from the canes anyways.. So why ***** about the offer if he seemingly didn't even care for it? And what are your thoughts on him putting up such an immature video?

Ahhhh **** nah! Watch it Nova, lol... NFMHS grad right here! I grew up with Ernest and watched Jammi lose to STA in the state semi's I believe...

back in the summer? lol. he didn't get an offer back in the summer so he is stomping on UM mail? and you wonder why UM had no interest in talking to you or your son? why couldn't he be patient? perhaps if he was patient, things might have worked out differently in the end. it's this sense of entitlement that UM didn't offer in 9th crap.

and quincy isn't gonna play press coverage as a cb and not get smoked often by wrs.

coaches down here try to hard to become the focus instead of the kid being the focus. they need to be in the limelight and forefront.

Chad,

I have no issues with you. Obviously our staff needs to do a better job of communicating with a majority of these schools in the tri-county area and even a little farther north. It's a glaring weakness at this moment. However, it is a two way st. I wish more ALUMNI would take the proactive approach and talk to Golden if they feel he isn't giving the school enough love vice just guiding quality players to other schools. I wish your son the best of luck and hope we can fix this issue moving forward (starting with this recruiting cycle). If not, the U will never get back to where we all want.

and didn't want to manipulate the recruiting process? isn't that a contradiction? the whole process is a manipulation, isn't it? I see a lot of irony here.
