Do Division I colleges subscribe to your recruiting service (gridironstuds.com)? If so, which ones? Does Miami's lack of interest in dealing with you have anything to do with that?

BTW......you should be embarrassed/concerned by your son's twitter account (I am assuming you've seen it) An 18 year old kid holding up "stacks" of cash is obnoxious and a cause for concern. One of the pictures mentioned he may have won the money gambling? Does he have a job? Where is he getting the money from?

I can certainly understand why Golden was not interested in dealing with you or your son. You seem to be more trouble than you are worth.

Quincy's 17 just for the record. He owns his own business repairing and selling iPhones so if you ever are in need hit him up. The picture he posted of him with the money was satire on the very thing you were concerned about. Quincy's a jokester and you missed the joke. Clearly you don't watch things like the Daily Show. It appears as though you feel Al Golden and his staff showed you and your son a lack of respect by not sitting down with you and talking this through. I can't say I disagree.

With that said, do you believe your son handled the response appropriately? Do you wish he did anything differently during the process?

Exactly. So far as Quincy's responses, I allowed him to express himself. YOu have to let teenagers do that within reason. If you bottle them up, their frustration manifests itself in other very unpredictable ways. He could have said a lot worse things. Fans didn't like it A) because some of it was the dirty truth and B) it was something negative about the team they love.

I raised a great child, who has made his entire family proud. Nothing anyone says in here will change that. Sorry.

Serious question. You've got issues with the coaching staff, and you've got issues with the fanbase now obviously too. Do you still love The U??? Not your time there, but now. And going forward. If the answer is yes then why not try to fix the issues that exist from your end? You're right it's Golden and company's job to reach out, but if they are failing there is nothing wrong with you being the bigger man, and facilitating bridging the gap that seems to exist. This is where I might have some disconnect with your issue of UM contacting you. How many Staffs contact you directly initially to start ANYBODY recruitment. Don't they go through the HC and the school first? As a DC -how many schools contact YOU instead of your HC first?... Did you have a Conversation with Harriot about Quincy and UM?

The fact that we let this guy come in here and try to reason is a major fail by Canesinsight. These parents and coaches are the majority of the problem with the recruiting process. Anyone who isn't a complete idiot can read through the lines with this site lately. Bringing guys like Genron and now this guy in here to plead there case is a total disrespect to the fan base. Not only that, you got a degree because the school offered athletes the chance to go back and get their degrees, something per this article you weren't even going to do had it not been for that program.

Pretty ****** to trash a school in the public eye that 16 years after you contributed to it helped you finish your degree.

My resentment never carried over to student athletes. I tell them the truth. The funny thing is that before being disrespected, I lied to kids about Miami because of my obvious bias towards Golden. I bought in as many of you did when he came on board.

Now I just tell the truth as I do about every school and that's what I am supposed to do. As fans that's tough to swallow.

Truth tends to be relative....especially when tinted with emotion.
