So far we know Chad (if it's the real Chad) is upset and started crying when his son wasn't offered and never sat down w/Coach Golden to know why. This then started the whole vendetta against Miami which includes negative recruiting against the school and publicly rebuking them. Instead of picking up the phone and calling Golden, or if he didn't want to talk to him, maybe Hurlie, MB. Coley, etc.

We have also learned that Chad and his school start recruiting players from other high schools during their junior years.

Oh, and Chad still wants us to believe that his son had multiple "committable" offers from schools when absolutely no one continued to recruit him over the past three months. He also has decided the best tact for his son's future is to allow him to say some fairly disparaging remarks about Miami, because, hey, teenagers will be teenagers.

It appears as though you feel Al Golden and his staff showed you and your son a lack of respect by not sitting down with you and talking this through. I can't say I disagree.

With that said, do you believe your son handled the response appropriately? Do you wish he did anything differently during the process?

Exactly. So far as Quincy's responses, I allowed him to express himself. YOu have to let teenagers do that within reason. If you bottle them up, their frustration manifests itself in other very unpredictable ways. He could have said a lot worse things. Fans didn't like it A) because some of it was the dirty truth and B) it was something negative about the team they love.

I raised a great child, who has made his entire family proud. Nothing anyone says in here will change that. Sorry.

The fact that we let this guy come in here and try to reason is a major fail by Canesinsight. These parents and coaches are the majority of the problem with the recruiting process. Anyone who isn't a complete idiot can read through the lines with this site lately. Bringing guys like Genron and now this guy in here to plead there case is a total disrespect to the fan base. I understand why Canesinsight is doing it because these cronies think they run So. Fla so Pete and the rest just wanna keep the peace to get more inside info. Chad, How many times did you go to Golden's office to talk to him about your son or other players? I know if I was a former player or coach, I would have made the first move instead of blaming someone else.

Your son only wanted to play CB and the Miami staff saw him as a S/OLB, correct?

Yes, my son has been trained as a cornerback, thinks like one etc. He likes playing football and is not stupid. If he couldn't hack it as a corner, his alternative would not be to ride pine. Not sure how the staff saw him because we never had that conversation.
