Chad, stop making things up, or should I say stretching the truth. Your son did not have 69 "committable" offers. It's the same reason why everyone stopped recruiting him over the last three months.

I agree about this being a problem. The school, staff etc cannot come out and defend themselves in a situation like this. As Chad and Quincy are protected by privacy laws. They can say whatever they want and the staff cannot defend themselves.

As a parent you do not deserve a phone call from the staff if they so choose to not recruit your kid. The recruiting business is so cut throat that there is not enough time to do that with every prospect. So your feeling being hurt need to be tamed by you in house. Not on Twitter. If I have a problem it is my job as an adult to talk to the person I have an issue with. Not talk about them from behind a keyboard. So even if they contact you, what did you want them to say? What could they have said to you that would have been ok? Nothing. You feel like your kid is UM caliber and they did not offer. This is the problem with the popular local kids, they are entitled. If you bring them in and they are not happy they will ruin your image publicly and that is obviously not worth it to the staff. Hence, your kid not getting an offer. Good luck with your team and your future. However on behalf on the posters here I would recommend you just leave. Your fighting an unfair fight and your just going to lose respect here. And you are just going to get called names etc. Which I am sure is not worth your time either.

If you have been paying attention, you would realize that I said. I had no problem as a father. UM doesn't like you as a prospect. 69 other division I schools felt the same way as they did not offer you. 50 division I schools did offer him.

My problem was as an alumni, I would think it would be wise to have a conversation with me a person who has direct access to a highly ranked prospect. **** man, I put in my blood, sweat and tears on Greentree practice field and my name is in those hallways.. At least give me that much.

I'd still like to hear why your issue couldn't have been discussed with Hurlie/Barrow instead of Twitter.

Again, I did not take the position of manipulating the recruiting process. That's just how you end up making the wrong decision.

first, thanks for coming on the board to try and clear the air. As for your comments, I read them with an open mind and thought "ok, I agree with that" or "I don't agree necessarily, but I can see how you would think that" but you lost me on this last one. Don't like manipulating the process? So you felt like you couldn't use your alumni status to contact to former teammates in Barrow and Brown and ask if there was an issue with Quincy when you are already very involved in his recruitment? Cmon, man.

However, your sons recruitment was not their first dealings with you correct? I just think when they decided not to recruit your son. For whatever reason, they just figured they would let sleeping dogs lie. As to not have you feel disrespected. Again, there is NOTHING they could have said to you as a justification of not recruiting your son that you would have agreed with. and by your reactions, you probably would have taken their words to twitter. And talk about how disrespected you were they do not want your son because they do not think he is this or that.....

Will your resentment against coach Golden and his staff carry over to your current student athletes?

My resentment never carried over to student athletes. I tell them the truth. The funny thing is that before being disrespected, I lied to kids about Miami because of my obvious bias towards Golden. I bought in as many of you did when he came on board.

Now I just tell the truth as I do about every school and that's what I am supposed to do. As fans that's tough to swallow.

What supposed "lies" were you telling to help Miami and Golden? As for being "disrespected", that seems to be the problem with the SFL mentality of players and coaches. EVERYTHING short of being coddled and catered to is being "disrespected".

Hood mentality, I suggest Chad just pop a cap in someone's ***, that'll learn'em

MY FAVORITE QUINCY MOMENT ON TWITTER THIS YEAR WAS WHEN HE CALLED TRACY HOWARD SUSPECT IN THE UF GAME SHORTLY BEFORE HIS PICK

QUINCY WILL NEVER HAVE A SEASON MR HOWARD HAD THIS SEASON AT CB

AND IF HIS TACKLING IN THE CENTRAL GAME IS ANY INDICATION HE CANT PLAY S

NOW THAT RIGHT THERE IS AS SUSPECT AS ANYONE THINKING THAT 100% OF THE TRUTH IS COMING OUT IN THIS THREAD

That was one of two comments he ever made that I regret. That and the one he made about Driskell. He made those out of frustration and it turned into a teaching moment for me and a learning moment for him. Again, he's a teen.

So far as the Central game is concerned, I have the whole film on my hard drive as one would suspect. Would be happy to review it with you and have you show me what he did in that game that would indicate he's not a solid football player. I watched film of Dalvin Cook and Joe Yearby in preparation to play them and they broke a lot of tackles and ran for a lot yards against a lot of good teams including the #1 team in the country Booker T Washington.

What did you "teach" him about thi....nah nevermind...you're a waste of time. Go fist yourself.

"go fist yourself?" Who's taking advice on raising kids from this guy? LOL

I can fist you if you want, kneegrow.

Thoughts?

You are making it painfully obvious as to why Golden wanted nothing to do with you.

I'm sorry your business failed. Seems to me like you are a very angry person.

Mr. Wilson, I go to school right next to U School. I'd be happy to interview you on behalf of this site and The Canes Community. Please message me if this interests you.

You dudes really need to get off of that.. These coaches that you guys are bashing in here on a routine basis get paid about $2k a year to provide all they can for these kids. MOST, not all, are doing it as a labor of love. MOST care about the kids they coach and want to see them succeed. MOST advise them along those guidelines. Keep bashing coaches, South Florida players and keeping the stadium half full. They will continue to march out of here to help other schools win national champions. Go ahead and bash me on that but it's that damned truth. Some of you guys need to look in the mirror.

I have to take a break for a bit.

I appreciate the mature individuals in here with perspective and insight.

Yall boys sound hurt lol i for one can't be mad with someone for calling it how they see it many of you bash golden and don't think our program is headed in the right direction but if someone who actually sweat and bled for the program says their part they're crybaby reality check is needed

Finally an honest response. The butthurt jumps from the page. Entitlement mentality rears its ugly head.

Yes and no. If he worked camps two years straight and was never approached that is definatley a problem. However, there is missing info here simply based on the absurdity of the situation. Ther are a lot of solid players coming out he U school but AG won't get involved for some reason. Sounds fishy and Chad ain't being completely honest about the WHOLE situation.

Chad,

What are you going to do when this man can't fix the offense and has Quincy riding the pine:

Publicly and repeatedly trashing the school didn't manipulate the process?

YOu can't read! I said 69 other schools did not offer him like UM didn't. Good Lordy.

I think Chad and his son are using this to audition for one of those stage dads and spoiled sons reality programs.

It can be the only explanation for their loss on reality.

So you see contacting assistant coaches to discuss like adults to be "manipulating the recruiting process" but you don't see ridiculous, public bashing of a program on social media by a high school coach who influences recruits to be "manipulating the recruiting process?" Please explain.
