Move DJ to SDE and I agree that is what they are probably thinking. If DJ leaves, RJ and Norton go pro and all of a sudden the DL depth isn’t looking that strong

I blame Rosier. Rosier hits some throws, we blow more teams out and DJ gets plenty of reps. For crying out loud, it took a while to put away Toledo. Rosier hurt the development of the younger players.

LOL, we just had our best season in 15 years, calm down. Toledo went on to win 11 games and the MAC, they aren't your average group of 5 team. DJ Johnson should've redshirted with the amount of depth we had at DE because we were rotating 3 deep out there consistently.

Richt will explain to him that it makes no sense to leave now. At least go through Spring practice and wait until the Summer to decide.

If he leaves because he’s homesick I get that. I’ve done that. But if he leaves because of playing time kid isn’t thinking straight. He’s primed for ‘18 if he plays the way Kul wants him to.

I think we are slowly seeing that Kul doesn’t play that **** and doesn’t care who you are. You play his way or not at all. I love it. But the Cardiac kids here will be mad from time to time.

Yeah if it's playing time, he's about to get a ton - Djax is coming off injury and we rotate 4 guys consistently at DE. He's the biggest, so he should easily slide into the Chad Thomas role with Joe Jackson on the other. Then on pass downs, DJ could kick inside like Chad did and allow DJax and Garvin reps at End.

If he's homesick, i get it. But he's a Cali kid. UW is not Cali. Arizona is not Cali...although his brother is there now. Family, but not home. If it's not really being homesick but more about not fitting in with the players since most are from the Southeast, i get that too. But give it the offseason with these new kids coming in, see if he can gel more with everyone now that he's not the freshman and will be a guy some of these kids look up to.

If he goes, he goes....and i'll wish him luck. But i really want him to stay and be that 5-star Predator to rep that U that we were all so excited about last year.
 
This is a big nothing until an actual person who has some real information provides some insight.

Otherwise what we have now is just baseless speculation that doesn’t really gives any idea what’s actually happening.

Just a bunch of people guessing.

Everything could be great, or not. But one thing’s for sure. Nobody posting here knows jackshlt.

This is where it would be nice if Pete or DMoney or whoever would chime in, even if it was just to say, “nothing to report” which is probably the case.

I'm sure he's considering transferring. Heard it from multiple people, and it typically happens to big name OOS kids who don't really play.

Hopefully he gets through it. DJ Williams was from Sacramento and considered transferring. He lives here now.

Do we know whether DJ Johnson is especially close with his family dog?
 
Kid prbly is a major contributor this season if he sticks... he is our new Chad next season switching from DE on 1st and 2nd to an inside DT on obvious passing downs

Kool has struggled on the trail crooting but keeping DJ is a must
