Yeah if it's playing time, he's about to get a ton - Djax is coming off injury and we rotate 4 guys consistently at DE. He's the biggest, so he should easily slide into the Chad Thomas role with Joe Jackson on the other. Then on pass downs, DJ could kick inside like Chad did and allow DJax and Garvin reps at End.
If he's homesick, i get it. But he's a Cali kid. UW is not Cali. Arizona is not Cali...although his brother is there now. Family, but not home. If it's not really being homesick but more about not fitting in with the players since most are from the Southeast, i get that too. But give it the offseason with these new kids coming in, see if he can gel more with everyone now that he's not the freshman and will be a guy some of these kids look up to.
If he goes, he goes....and i'll wish him luck. But i really want him to stay and be that 5-star Predator to rep that U that we were all so excited about last year.
