That's perfect in these new spread systems to cover the slot.

And Curtis is special with his speed. No way you let that go. Remember, this year there will be plenty of recruits that fly under the radar due to the covid shutdowns. I think Curtis is a gem.

They are both light, but not short like Bandy. These guys can fill in decently.

Add in Markevious Brown for the size.

Dunson and C.Williams are also big CBs for the future.

I’m sorry but McGhee has never ran track and has little experience in the weight room. He’s going to end up being faster and bigger than Curtis. I get what you’re saying about Curtis but McGhee is the better prospect hence why we were all here confused about why he didn’t get an offer.

Moise is already included without being added. His father already made it seem he ain’t playing DT either.

This is a dumb take, Curtis is skinny af to and ran track for one year. Curtis runs an 11.1 now, what will his time be when he gets in the weight room and runs track a little longer, probably a 10.7-10.8.

And still be slower than McGhee who’s a better football player. I don’t care how fast he runs. There’s no drop off between Damarius McGhee and Curtis but there’s a drop off when comparing Damarius McGhee to Curtis as a football player. You can’t honestly sit here and tell me you prefer a 3 year project over a guy who’s got way better offer and is a year away. McGhee is is 6’1 165 and ran 4.56 with with a 4.25 shuttle going into his junior year without training, imagine the athletic gains once he does have training.

The shuttle time is similar to Dunson. I expect Dunson to be big time. I expect McGhee to be as well. Would be a huge pickup. And I agree with you on Curtis. Although, taking him as an Ath/ return guy/ db depth wouldn't make me mad

That’s why I said what I said. Maybe we take Brashard as more of a weapon and have Malik play slot and add McGhee instead on Daniels. If we’re talking CB prospects though McGhee needs to be here way more than Curtis.

How do you know he is slower, McGhee has not ran the 100 meter and Curtis has not ran the 40. So it seems to me that take comes from your bias of liking McGhee over Curtis and not actually doing research, which you can't do because there is not enough information on them. Though testing numbers are important, I don't think they tell the whole story, I mean DJ Ivey had a 4.2 shuttle and he still does not have the hips you would like in a UM caliber CB. I would not mind replacing Mcghee and I'm not arguing to keep Curtis, I just think your points are not that valid, besides your point on being a football player. With that being said, I still think you are underestimating Curtis. He is going into his senior year and he could blossom.

Expected but I’m not fond of this. I really think he should be replaced by Demarius McGhee. 4.56 at 6’1 going into his junior year plus he is a lot better on tape. I get people love his athletic ability and maybe we could still take him at WR but I wouldn’t take him over McGhee.

22. CB- Duce Chestnut

Him and Markevious Brown are interchangeable but Ivins put him in his mock so I’m rolling with it. I think Brown has a bit more potential.

23. S- Kamren Kinchens

Can’t wait til he commits. Love this kid and our safety room Is starting to resemble our safety room of the past.

Overview: So the way the class would sit right now it’ll land at 256.97 which would be anywhere between 12-15 in the country. Remove Curtis for Damarius McGhee and it becomes a fringe top 10 class. I think outside of corner everything is solid. I would have no complaints expect for CB because of who we pursued and didn’t offer. I think Damarius needs to be a huge priority and I also believe Davion Sistrunk needed an offer. I continue to be let down by the CB recruiting and I’m tired of it. As you can see we’re pushing it numbers wise a bit and this is probably the absolute max we could go with Willie coming on board.

Agree, although I'm even stronger on Markevious Brown over Chestnut.
