That's a legitimate argument for a high school sophomore, not a college sophomore. 21 is absolutely old enough to manage how he airs his grievances with the public. I understand him talking to coach about where exactly he stands. Close mouths don't get fed. But tweeting is the same as a press conference, and he absolutely knows that. Immature. Fortunately, I think the attitude of the team as a whole is so positive that this won't have detrimental effects.

You’ve posted a lot of dumb **** over the years, but this is the dumbest. Mullins can’t post that ****, how ******* stupid is he to not think it would be seen and blow up. If he has an issue, you go to position coach. That doesn’t get resolved, go to OC, THEN HC. But never handled that way. If an old school cane who was 5 or 6 on depth chart popped off like that using old media, I can guarantee JJ would have taken care or more over players would have dealt with it internally.

Give me a break man, stupid as ****.

Obviously he went to his position coach and remained frustrated, he said dude wouldnt give him an answer.. Dont know if you ever played football but **** like this happens all the time...Not saying it was a bed decision of course it was but ****'s talking about kick him off the team is ridiculous
 
it is not richt's style to get rid of a guy on his first offense, even one like this one. richt will keep the kid around and try to educate him, as it should be. now, if he's done other stupid things that we dont know about, then that's a different story.
 
I said it on another thread, I'll say it again.

Not impressed by Mullins at all. And I'll leave it at that.

I wasn't at the game, but watching on TV there were several sideline shots of him sitting on bench with a disgusted look on face, even after we made a big
play in the third quarter.
Very poor attitude.

The least happiest person on any team is the #2 WR. Mullins is a redshirt freshman who probably could of used better judgement. Some of you guys casted Langham off years ago and he's one of the reasons we are still undefeated this year. Im sure CMR will sit him down and explain to him what he can do better to get off the bench.... and make sure he understands that Twitter sh*t won't be accepted! I think situations like this happen at every school.
 
we were down a wr...im guessing he expected more reps or reps..(i thought he would get some of harley's) and apparently he didnt. **** Dayall Harris had a few reps.

Im guessing answering him about it mayh have helped to quelch the situation.

Shouldnt of posted it..hope he builds from it. I like him in the slot, he isnt bad. But wr's are wired different..he wasnt actually crying for the ball..just reps. Proper explanation by coaches, delete off twitter....get ready to go next week.

Hoe move by Mullins plains and simple. A better response would be to work your *** off, earn playing time...mneanwhile your doing anything you can to help the team like dominating on special teams. Berrios from north Carolina has a better cane attitude than this dude right now.

No need for guys like this. He’s gonna get passed up by the ‘18 guys too. I’d send him packing. Talent doesn’t match the attitude.

Voila! Mullins needs to CHECK HIMSELF and what not. Them there Canes are feeling good and feeling them righteous vibes and all that. So need for the negative vibes and so forth. Them DOWNER VIBES aren't needed now. dUh.

Naw ...I wouldn't kick him off. I'd have a talk with him, be real and let him know where he stands, what he needs to work on etc. After that it's on him.

I wanna see what happens and I wanna see how he responds from this. Not giving up on kids for doing dumb ****. It's not like he was stealing people credit cards or crab legs. Alot of you like to give up on players real quick. He's a t So, has to be frustrating. He need to channel that into working harder. He deserves a stern talking to maybe a quarter suspension

**** happened to a guy behind me at Hampton. **** happens in baseball, basketball, soccer, pick a team sport. He handled it wrongly and you enabled it by your comments. I wonder if it was your son would you tell him to keep tweeting after the biggest win for our school in 10+ years.
